It would help if you mentioned the Country from which you sent the documents. From India it takes 4 to 5 days. Also you can refer to the tracking sheet and filter and see how much time it takes for UPS to deliver to CIC.

Thank you! Im from Philippines.

Does the CPC-Ottawa office send AOR's? Right now FBI is taking 25 calender days (as per their site) + postal mail delivery time.

Hi everyone!
I have applied under NOC 2131. my application reached CIC on 22nd May. While i was going through the posts in this forum, I noticed that everyone is advising to get the letters related to work experience from HR. I got my letters from one of the directors of the company who interviewed and appointed me and not from HR. He signed the letter of appointment too at that time. Hope this is not an issue. Please anyone clarify.
While i wait for my DD to get charged, I'm getting really worried everyday :(.

Thats not at all a problem. Any supervisor can provide you the reference letter since he is the best to judge your roles and reposnsibilities.
Pelase refer my post on page 1027 for further details :)

What is the next stage after receiving PER, I didn't sent my PCC-India, I am in USA . Should I start PCC process through Indian embassy.

How much time embassy takes to process PCC and is it safe to send original passport to embassy or is there any other way to get PCC ??

If u r in the USA, Indian PCC shouldn't take much time. In Houston, I got it in 3 days! Submitted my application with original passport on Friday. Got a call from consulate to pickup PCC on Monday.

Hi all,

Just a quick query. I sent my application for NOC 2172 (Database Administrator) and it was received on 22nd May 2014.
Now, I am trying to reach out to a few friends in Canada who have their own firms. I want to get an offer letter to escalate the whole process.

I have a couple of questions.

- Does the job offer I'll get have to be of same field (in my case Database Administrator)
- What if I am getting a job offer for a different field, i.e., Project Management?
- How long does the whole process take if you have a job offer?

Kindly guide me if anyone (experienced) knows the answers to above questions?? :)

Thanks,

Rabail

I have a quick and (hopefully) easy question. :)

Consider that I have 4 years total work experience with continuous 1.5 years of them in an eligible occupation for the FSWP program and the other 2.5 is non-eligible class A occupations.

How many years of my work experience will be considered for the work experience points (all 4 years or just the 1.5)?

Thanks :)
