I am happy for u man. The email you are referring is call positive eligibility review email which comes in 2 weeks. Few 1st may applicants received it after a week. So relax ..u have almost cleared hurdle.

Ask ur bank to temporary disable ur card. If u r card is chip enabled dont worry no indian can misuse it. Check with bank if they can issue new card(with same nhmber ) to u. Make sure new card has international limit set and u have sufficient credit limit.

But same card # will just not suffice,,, other details like expiry date.. are also needed...

May be u can bank to just allow this one transaction and block all others..

I agree that you sound logical. But would like more details. I also sent addendums and your statement has set my pulse running. My app was received on 9th May(2174) and my additional docs reached on May 22nd. Very minor changes I should say (my name in native language was missing in Schedule A in the first app). So I guess you can understand my line of thinking

I am just seeing the trend and predicting , it may not digest to other people ,
still I am helping those who even dont know actual scenario, some even dont know that 2174 got filled 30th May .. they still think that it was open till september last year

Hi Kool, Actually it is a figment of your imagination that your comments are being helpful to others. If that were the case you would not have received just +7 ratings in over 485 odd posts made by you. Most of the times you are merely pushing something that you feel very strongly about, and something that actually most people think is incorrect or not important information at all. If it were information of value you would definitely receive higher appreciations in terms of ratings for such high number of postings. Now that is real world estimation based on numbers/ trends, if I may humbly add.

Finally after much delays ...I hav sent my application via fedex. Expected delivery date is 10th June. I have butterflies in my stomach as if I just wrote my final exam and now waiting for my results.

Thank u for all d help for filling up d forms....spl thanks to Ashif, century & neel. Cudnt hav done it without u guys.
