Hello All, i would like to share good news with you all. My ecas status changed to Decision Made. I don't know when it happened exactly because i was not checking the ecas since a while
I have checked it last night and here we go.
My timelines : Application received : 20th May
Medical Received : 19th Nov

Extremely glad to inform that I have received MR/RPRF/ PCC request from NDVO at 1:05 PM IST today.
August 8th applicant
NOC 2173
Second line updated on Feb 2nd 2015 stating " We have starting processing your file on Jan 30th 2015."

Seems like NDVO has slowed down post lunch ... it was 14-15 DM/PPR till 12 noon or so.

Have you mentioned NDVO as your visa office in application form or NDVO is considered as default for all Indian applicants?

Yes, infact I did mentioned NDVO as my visa office in form but they shifted a lot of application to either warsaw or colombo for load balancing. So, keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. Good luck to all and +1 to you too.

Got passport request on 20-Feb. Sent Passport on 24-Feb to Ottawa VO. Waiting for visa and passport back. Already in Canada

Ha! ha!.. Suppal, tangocharlie, soccr3guy, june17th.... whenever someone reports a DM on ECAS, I end up checking my status. It, as usual, remains "In-Process". Sometime, I wish that ECAS just crashes for a few days and there is no way to check. At least, I'll not face continuous disappointment

Here's a quote that has always guided me (from my fav. movie of all time) - "Hope is a good thing, May be the best of things, And no good thing ever dies" ... Keep your hopes up... good news is just around the corner....

Does Primary Applicant have to go for submitting passports at VFS, or can it be done by family member ?

You need to have an authorisation letter to submit/collect passports on someone else's behalf. Simple handwritten letter will do.

While collecting, you need Govt ID proof for each member, and authorisation letter again.

Hello Seniors,
Really need your advise here. I am getting too nervous now.

Files my application under 2174 category. App received date: 12th May 2014.
I was due in Nov end and informed the same to the visa office however I got my medical request along with RPRF, PCC which I had completed.
I then got my PPR request to be submitted by Jan25th. By that time I had just got my baby's passport done and I submitted all his papers on 13th Jan and then submitted all 3 of our passports (Mine, my spouse and my baby's) on Jan 24th.
Now VFS status shows that it is being processed at the NDVO office.
Also, my status of the application changed back to "In progress" from "Decision Made" on 12th Feb 2015. I am now waiting for my son's medical and have not received them for more than a month now. However, I checked with the bank and my demand draft was credit in the beneficiary bank in Jan only.
Do i need to keep on waiting for the medical request for my son or can I get it done on my own?
How long will it now take to get the mdeical request and then get our passports with visa?

Some one Please advise.
