have you provided Saudi pcc earlier? If not you definitely need to provide. If already provided, and still if they have asked, you will need to provide again. Depends on the text of the MR email recd by you.

The text of the MR mail is this....

Police Certificate : Form each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance for yourself and your spouse from India. This must be received at this office by 2015/04/07

There is no mention of Saudi PCC. I have not submitted the Saudi PCC earlier and as per my consultant it's not required to be submitted as they have not asked for it as the period is more than 10 years prior .... I'm really confused now.

We share the same boat bro! It looks like they are stacking the files for processing after they complete issuing DM and PPRs for May/June applicants. This is good for applicants for earlier months. However, this just means that we August applicants have to wait a tad longer to reach the end goal!

Have one question :-

How quickly can a person start working in Canada .
I mean suppose I have the Visa stamped in hand and I have landed in Canada .
How soon can I start working there.

The reason I am asking this is because I am going to ask my company If they can transfer me to their Canada Office.

If By God's grace they decide to do so .. Can I start working for them from the second day after landing ..

Or will i require to get a PR card to start working there?

PR CARD is not required, but sin is, which can be recd in 10 mins from services Canada, who may have their counter at the air port as well.

Hello everyone,
I applied file on 13th August 2014 and received per on 3rd december 2014. It's been almost 85 days since I got my per but still no update from Ndvo. Even no second line update. Feeling very sad. One thing I would like to ask from the experienced applicants that if I got my second line updated in a couple of days then after second line update after how many days I can expect mr? Is there any minimum period between second line and mr???

I am done with my medicals on 07.11.14 and uploaded on 13.11.14.It is almost 108 and 102 days from the day i did the medicals and the same was updated in the web portal.Just chill the good news is on its way

you don't need pcc from saudi as tgnat was not in last 10 years...
pcc is required ONLY for countries visited for "more than 6 months" in last "10 years..

thanks. One small correction. Pcc is required for all adults greater than 18 years of age, for their stay in any country other than Canada, more than 6 months at a stretch, since their 18th year onwards.

You have to get SIN number to work over there. It may take few weeks.

sin number takes 10 minutes to issue these days

well that's it to be honest.... we are planning on reaching out to our bank to check on whether the DD has been encashed...but that isn't my question...

I have a query pertaining to getting an FBI PCC.

My husband, who is also the primary applicant, was in the US for a little over a year and has to get his PCC from FBI. I have read on this forum and a few other forums too about how FBI uses first class mail to send out the PCC and that it takes ages to reach India, especially since First Class Mail does not have service in India and hence relies on third party couriers whereby tracking becomes impossible.

In order to avoid the delay, we were wondering if it was possible to request the PCC to be sent to a friend in the US, who could then FedEx it out to us. IF this is possible we were wondering where is it that we should mention the delivery address for the PCC. We didn't see any place on the form for it.

If anyone has tried something like this, we would really appreciate the assistance.
