Guy I have noticed one thing...PPR is being issued as per the 3rd line update...i had done my meds on 20/11 but 3 rd appeared in decm...so iam still waiting for PPR despite being 9-10 june applicant

A bit tensed..a bit worried...now facing sleepless nights....Prayers needed

As my meds were done on 1st Nov.... 3rd line updated on 11 Nov 2014 & RPRF DD encashed on 14th Nov 2014.... Still no PPR/DM ??? ??? ??? ???

Even many may applicants whose meds were done in Oct are still waiting !! NDVO is so random that we are not able to guess any trend !!

I had got PPR yesterday and now have started to prepare landing / settlement.

Due to lower price of crude oil, I do not see job opportunities in energy sector (for which I have 10 yrs of experience) in near future. My problem is I expect to get last date for landing as April 25 as my medical were done on April 26, 2014.

Option1: I land in April with family & stay in Canada.. Search a job.. If unsuccessful, Get PR card in 45 days & get back to India search a new job.

Option2: land in April.. Stay for a week & get PR cards delivered to a friend's address. Come back to continue job in India & go back to Canada after securing a job.

Has any other forumite also faced similar situation ? I need advice.

Brother...i guess you should go alone initially. Spend some time in finding a job there, meantime you will get your PR card and then decide whether you want to come back or call your family directly there... Now taking a leave or resigning from your current job that you have to decide because that depends on how you share your relations with your current job...
