Question

-Which mail id is the GCMS note received from?
-After trigger the request, the ack mail said the below, how long does it take to get a permanent tracking number?

Your temporary request tracking number is xxxxxx. After your request has been registered, a new number will be assigned to your request.

The initial mail came from
noreply @ atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca

You will receive GCMS notes from "atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca" email address.
As far as I know all you receive is an acknowledgment email which you will receive within 5 min of submitting request. I order GCMS notes 2 times. Didnt receive any other mail other than acknowledgement email. I ordered noted under Privacy act.

Get to know 4 Seasons - Canada

Spring – March to May:
This is the season when winter snow begins to melt. There is often a lot of rain during this period as the days become warmer and longer and the nights remain cool.

Summer – June to August / September:
Daytime temperatures are usually above 20 degrees Celsius and can reach 30 degrees Celsius or higher during July as the weather becomes hotter. Areas like Durham Region near the Great Lakes in Ontario experience humid air and thunderstorms.

Fall – September to November:
n the fall, typically the shortest of the seasons, days become noticeably shorter and the first frosts appear. Leaves in many parts of the country turn from green to red, yellow and brown before they fall from the trees.

Winter – December to February or later:
Winter is the longest season of the year. You must dress warmly to protect yourself from the cold when you are outside in winter. You will need a warm coat, mittens, hat and boots most days. Since you lose 90 per cent of your body heat through your head, a properly fitted hat is essential.

  • In the winter time records indicate temperatures by day reach -0.3°C (31.5°F) on average falling to -6.6°C (20.1°F) overnight.
  • In spring time temperatures climb reaching 9.9°C (49.9°F) generally in the afternoon with overnight lows of 2.5°C (36.4°F).
  • During summer average high temperatures are 23.6°C (74.5°F) and average low temperatures are 15.1°C (59.2°F).

1-2 months, I think they are taking 3-4 months in case of NDVO as is evident from the cases whose 3rd lines are updated in Oct and Nov and are still waiting for PPR/DM.

Yes I am aware of that. I just said it keeping average processing time of every VO.

Thanks Goku.

Surprisingly the italics in my quote is verbatim.
I also, have applied through the same act.
Guess, best to wait 30 days and find out.

I agree with you. Even there are people who completed their medicals in September and got their 3rd line as well. But, they are still waiting for their DM/PPR. NDVO is unpredictable.

You should get a PER with a week to 3. (Usually).

I think one (whom you authorized)is supposed to request it under "Access to information act" not "Privacy act". So how did you apply under Privacy act ??

Anyways, I dont see any reason for you to order GCMS notes as you already receive MR & 3rd line. Do you mind sharing the reason for request.

In my application, i have mentioned two different addresses. One is for communication and another one is permanent one. Now i have shifted to the permanent address and my both addresses are same now. Shall i inform to NDVO about this because i dnt think its a major change...

Yes you have to update them regarding any changes in application. Use below link to update your address.

Updating them about changes surely wont harm.

I got a pal in Canada, applied it against his physical address. (it was the access to information act under which the request was made)just checked my ack mail and that's what it says.

From past posts, I understand that post MR, GCMS will record criminal check status and finally something that says VFS envelope or something, which basically means that all that's left is them triggering the PPR. However if I am not mistaken this case I am talking of had this update a month back and was still awaiting on PPR.
All in all, I am just curious to know how my file was handled and the current status of it.

Ohk. I am sure your Security is going on, as your Medical and Criminality will be tagged "Passed". I think because of some misfortunate events around the world they are taking more on Security. Hope you receive PPR soon. Best Wishes.

As each day passes , i am loosing the hope from NDVO. :(
This wait is endless and impatient. :-[
