To all the lovely applicants

I read so many posts, some happy for PER, some frustrated with the wait and some over the moon for getting a PPR

Feels so happy to see many elated applicants, they have waited for this day hoping to change many things in life, probably had been mocked over many things by people around but they still were patient for this day.
Many would have cried in happiness after such a long wait and finally it has paid off!
Wish you guys handle every other situation in life with such patience and achieve what you always wanted to - GOOD LUCK!

To be practical, this is life! Things you never wanted actually, you get them at ease and you dont realise its importance.
If it takes long, tests your patience, has given you sleepless nights, made you not to get to work during this time, then just imagine of THE day when you get a PPR and THE day when your FACEBOOK status is going to change to MOVED TO CANADA .. .. ..yes thats what am talking about! Just hang in there, its not by your choice you are waiting so let it be what it is, let that end result be of matter and think of that day when you'll forget of this wait that kept you anticipating for that eternal thing - PR

i have sent landing document + canadian passport + canadian revenue document to prove her residency in canada ( this letter was of 2013 i.e more than 6months older and they have rejected bcoz it was more than 6months old . this document was attested by barrister & solicitor from canada on 13 august 2014 and my app was recieved on 23 sep 2014 ) is there any possibility to appeal as the address on this 2013 document is same as her current address. rest every thing is in order in my application.

i think landing paper is most important document you sent.and same is the Canadian passport.... did they raise any point in context to proof of relationship.

if not ....you can call them over the phone and raise case specific enquiry.......also you may consult with lawyer....but i personally feel that their courts will take decision biased to CIC.....and you will end up loosing more.

the suggestion which i want to give you is that you should look for opportunities with Australia sol occupation list and other state occupation lists .

also you should consider express entry along with pnp options.

Also, when you say, email, you mean a CSE, right?

if you think you have a valid legal point then seek legal help immediately. i remember a similar case slightly different reported here some months ago where the CIC agent denied per by calculating points incorrectly . He had then contacted a lawyer who helped him with a legal letter which was the faxed to CIC. he was then awarded PER

Lawyers are expensive and they can charge you 250$ per hour or more but give it a try .

Is it advisable, that the entire family shifts to canada togehter or one should go alone first and then family joins.?

Hi,
The only thing you need to worry initially is accomodation.

If you have any relatives close enough who are happy to let you all stay with them until you find a day job atleast, then no problemoooo
read blogs about peoples experiences after landing (just google), many have shared their views.

Shelter is the only issue with family, you cant squeeze in anywhere like you can when single.

Considering this, I'd suggest go alone, know the place, get some work, it might be a totally different picture than what you imagine or heard so go analyse things and get your family on board once you are comfortable, may be in 2-3 months.
