I am still not clear about it...my file is at local VO, which is under process and i am to send my wife's documents to add her in my application. I shall make a DD for "Receiver General for Canada" of 550 CAD but whom shall make it payable to? local VO or CIO Canada? Are they send it to Canada to get it en cashed? doesn't make sense... :-\ :-\

Am a little confused by my GCMS notes received today. Under Canadian Education Credential it has NO and under Assessment of Foreign Education Credential it shows YES. Why would they do that? All my post secondary education has been here in Canada?

Probably that's because of u did not submit ur canadian educational credentials or might be clerical mistake

Guys, I've just realized I have a valid visitor visa for Canada (I've never used it, though). Can I use the UCI number to check my application status? I'm a Dec 2 applicant, CC charged, so I'm still waiting for my PER. Just curious

My ECAS status just seen new update of 2nd line today only.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on August 15, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on February 6, 2015.

That means now only they have opened my file and they will initiate security and background checks or it is already completed now just need to wait for MR... please reply i am really tensed.

Did you try getting your UCI number from CIC.? If yes then check your ECAS online if its active . If not then try to get the UCI number .

Yes, it means you already have a UCI. It's a 8 digit number.

Just paid RPRF.. what is the best / preferred method to fill details and send (email) the receipt to VO.

A. Print, Fill, Scan ---- email

B. Fill on original receipt on adobe --- email

Do we really have to fill it and send? Is that not okay if we could send it unfilled along with med. docs via courier? Won't they map it with our file number? Please let me know where did u find information that RPRF receipt needs to be filled and sent? As I have just sent the blank one with med bills a month ago... May be I will have to email them this copy. Please let me know.. Thanks..
