Dear Friends

Please give your advice

My App reached on 25 June, and as per my email communication with CIC it shows my application have send to NDVO on 21 Oct

On Checking online status it show only one line " We have received you application on 25 JUne".

Nothing else is updated.

Please tell me is there any hope for me

I would suggest to send and email to NDVO with your details requesting about the status update.

Alternatively request GCMS notes

Hello seniors,

I need urgent advise on RPRF. I sent the RPRF for myself and spouse along with my medical proof and PCC. However, I have received an e mail from CIC New Delhi, asking me to pay the Rprf. I checked with the bank, and the bank says that the Demand draft that I had sent to CIC on 18th Dec, 2014 has not been honoured yet. It seems that the DD has been misplaced somehow. Should I send a new DD? (I have already sent an email to CIC ND alongwith the photocopy of the DD I sent in December, as a proof). Or should I wait for CIC to reply on my email?

:o :o :o :o :o :o :oCould someone shed some light?

We received our medical request on the 5 Feb 2015, On my husbands medical form (he is the main applicant) it has a mistake. On the form it has his place of birth as ABC but he was born in XYZ - although he has dual citizenship of both ABC and XYZ - can we go ahead and do the medical test and just take both passports with or will I need to get that corrected on the form first. On our application form it shows that he was born in XYZ and also has citizenship in ABC....

ALSO We only received our medical request and not RPRF??? is this normal??

Thanks everyone in advance

Hi,

I personally do not feel that place of birth may be too much of issue as long as they have captured that he has dual citizenship.

Receiving medical first and RPRF later is also normal can differed for case to case.

What is your VO?

Do the medicals for all together.

You should send a cover letter that mentioned
1: that you have completed the requested medical on (attached proof like receipt & Medical acknowledgement)
2: The error in the place of birth spotted with your husband and the related history that he has dual citizenship (to ensure the case office notices this) they may ask for additional documents as evidence while they correct this error.
Send passport bio pages along with the letter

PER, PER received!!!...... 57 days after CC charge ???

It wasn't the easiest time for me but a few members here encouraged me a little.

My timeline

Application received: 18/Sept/2014 (as per PER mail)
CC Charged: 10/Dec/2014
PER Mail: 6/Feb/2014

I am extremely happy because i did the application with no help from anyone. I had not even discovered this site at the time and was clueless on what lead statement or main duties really meant - had not seen samples posted. My duties ended up matching with about 60% and that was with only 1 employer.(I have worked 5 jobs in the last 10 years).

I believe there are those whose PER is taking longer than expected, please hold on - it will come. It is best not to compare your timeline with others as each case is different. As long as one is honest in what they submit and of course has fulfilled all the requirements, you will pass the test.

Best wished to everyone.

Hello wangare 2014 many many congrats & salute to your patience ... ;)

same here 74 days from DD en cashed still waiting 4 good news ???

Hello Folks! Can someone please advise how long is it currently taking for NDVO to make a decision on FSW applications received on May 12/14, after MR has been submitted and cleared? Thanks!! :)

Hi devpatel,

If you can speak to the bank and basis you credentials get the DD cancelled and money refunded, I would suggest you do that and send another drat out.
The other way is to raise a CSE and expect that the VO is able to locate the DD you send earlier and get it encashed. However this as per me would be a longer run in the mill. The erstwile is a quicker solution.

All the best.

Thanks a lot for Ur insights. However, bank said they can cancel the dd only if i return the original dd. Else I need to wait till the validity of the dd is over, which is 17th June, 2015.

I was thinking to send a new dd along with a letter explaining the situation to ndvo.

Is it possible that ndvo encash both the dd's without checking. Or will they return one if at all they are able to locate the original one?

If both the dds are encashed in a worst case scenarios. How to go about requesting a refund for one of the dds?

Highly doubt, NDVO will do that. It is their inability to be organised which in the first place made them mispace your DD.
If you want to play safe, raise a CSE, if you can take the monetory risk, send another DD.
At worst, they will encash both your drafts in which case you can throught a CSE claim refund on one later.

BTW, when you sent the first DD, did you pen down you UCI/File number on the back?
Do that on the second one.

I sent the dd on 18th DEC, 2014. I actually did not put my UCI on the back of it. I ll surely put down that info on second one though.

I m probably going to send a second dd tomorrow or day after.

Thanks again.
