Still no second line or MR !! July 4th applicant! It's been 75 days since PER. Should I be worried ???

Lots of July applicants have already received their MR. Should I contact NDVO?

No need to contact NDVO for update. Let them process it as there pace.

Good morning all,

I'm one of the many people happy that CPC Ottawa has woken up from their 2 month nap. I received PPR and will update the SS tonight (no Google Doc access here).

Question: Can my stuff arrive before I land? I have to ship all of my items on January 31st (apt lease ends), but I won't be landing until February 13th (need to allow time for my passport to be sent back to me, and giving my boss one month's notice). UPS won't hold the items for later delivery.

Yes, you should be able to do it but you have to pay custom duty for it. If it is after landing, you don't have to pay the custom duty.

Can the Christmas holidays be another reason for delay in receiving the PER mail..its already 1 month since my DD was encashed

Congrats....PER will drop probably before end of the day..mine was like that..ECAS came alive in the morning and PER dropped in the night.best of luck

Did you check your Ecas status before, coz i notice that your app/file took 140days to receive PER, which is not normal as per SS average.

Validity of Visa is one year from the date of Medical. So landing has to be done before visa expires.

Nothing to be worried about, it's normal , 2nd line will be updated soon.

Click Immigration
Click Right of Permanent Resident Fee
Fill number of applications and submit.


At the end, you will get payment receipts in PDF format.

I am happy to share with forum that I received PER mail on 14th Jan.

I was in middle of a meeting when I sneaked in my mailbox, and saw the mail from my consultant. My face got brightened up, and my boss thought that I am really liking his stupid ideas.. ;D ;D

Anyways, we know the secret..

I believe I have now achieved the 50% mark, and the wait for another 50% (PPR) begins..

So many things to do now before PPR.. First thing is to start exercise and follow a healthy schedule. I am sure many of forumites who have received PER have started doing so, to be safe in MR..

Never knew that anything could ever motivate me to get up early and start running, but I must thank Canadian Govt. for that.. ;D

I know its again a wait now for MR and PPR, but I am sure with all of you along, this wait will be as enjoyable, as it has been till now.
