Hello Seniors,

I had applied under NOC2172 on 14 October and later i found that my credit card will expire on December 31 as I was given with a new card. So I again sent the application package on December 2 with the new credit card information under the same NOC.

Now that my first application got charged in my old CC on December, should I be worried the second application may affect the initial one since both are under the same NOC? I am keeping my credit card balance much lesser than 550 CAD just to make sure that the second one is not charged. is there any other means to make CIC reject the second one? I guess it will pass the completeness check.

I am waiting for PER on the initial one.

The first batch of NDVO PPR's and decision made (bulk issue) happened in 3 rd week of Dec or after 15 dec.So I hope from next week onwards PPRS will start.

I may suggest to inform your bank to block your CC and instruct them that they should not approve any transaction on that.

Hello Everyone,

I just saw that I have received my RFPRF along with the updated information chart and PP Bio pages.

They have asked me to reply through the scan copy of all the document to be sent through email.

I have a question here that which email address should I reply on, is it the one from which I have received the email (LDNIMMIGRATION @ international .gc .ca) but that seems a generic one.

Also what does HPM mean (You may pay online as an HPM payment)

My time lines are as follows:

App received 12-May-14
PER received 26-Aug-14
Processing Started 9-Oct-14
Second Line Updated 9-Oct-14
Medical Request received 9-Oct-14
Medical Done 22-Oct-14

HPM stands for (Handling of Public Money), that's just CIC's online payment system.

I am also in the same situation as you and received the same email two days ago, i made the payment online and sent the receipt electronically along with other docs.

May we both get PPR2 soon.

There is no need to worry about the app getting charged again,.. since the first app is charged they would have all the details associated to UCI and whenever they try enter DOb and other details they would be notified about the second App with same NOC from the same Person.

They do have mechanism in place to handle such situation i guess. So sit back and wait for the rest of the process all the best to you and all in similar situation ...

CIC is become very slow in 2015. not too many applications are charged, especially from Oct 14
