NEED ADVICE
My wife got a new passport last month in lieu of damaged passport
Our scheduled medical appointment is on Dec 26.....
The medical request form mentions old passport no
what should I do now....
Should i ask VO to send me another updated medical request form?
Hi,
In the medical request form, nowhere the passport number will be mentioned. However, at the time of ME, they ask for proof then you can provide your new passport. That will not be any problem. Just get the medical panel to notice that this is your new passport (carry both old and new).
Passport is just for correct identity to verify if they are doing ME for right candidate.

While dispatching the documents, you can mention that in a cover letter. Hope this helps;

Fortune and my Medical:

Since it was taking too long to get any email/response from SG after my second line addition (9th Oct 14), I have applied for GCMS report on 18th Nov. I rcvd the report one month later...Since I am moving it took two days to read the email....

[size=13pt]And then what I have seen on the GCMS report ( @ correspondence section ) - They have sent me Medical Request on 20th Oct 14 with below docs:

1. Medical Attachment for me and spouse
2. PCC for BD and FBI report
3. Photo
4. Updated Employment letter from HR dept
5. Right of Permanent Residence Fee

They had given 60 days for all of this formalities.Whole body of the emails is written GCMS report (with all other correspondences like PER/AOR etc.).

So I have already crossed that time frame.

After that I have sent an email to SG referring to this GCMS report's email and informed them that I have not rcvd any email communication from them. They have sent me an email immediately with Medical attachment and instruction. This time they have given me 30 days and mentioned that they will refuse my application otherewise.

So after waiting of 20 months I have finally received Medical request (without receiving any prior doc req from them).

Thanks to all of the forum members........Please receive my sincere gratitude for supporting me through out this painful time... :) . I am really grateful to all of you.

Asking my presence on ur prayer for my upcoming process and career........

Email to the HR that you need reference letter, if they denied.
Get it from your colleague stating your job duties, his designation in your company and attach his visiting card.
Important: print the mail communication between you and your HR.
Attach your last 3 months Salary Slip and last 3 years Form 16 also.

Send all to NDVO and hope for the best.....
Good Luck....

Big Thanks to forum members..
One day while goggling I found this great forum, it helps me in lot in making my application with out any consultant.
Initially I planned to apply 2174,2173 later 2171 finally I applied under 2172 because of capping timelines by the help of forum members.

1) I have taken reff later on A4 paper and attested by my colleague with his business card.
2) instead of BC I kept Affidavit from parents.

Finally My CC charged on 23 December 7 PM EST.

App Date: 21st October
NOC: 2172

Thanks everyone wish you good luck for your applications.

Congrats Venu, good luck :)

When did you get the email?

What is your NOC

the best thing you can do is a get a letter from Employer stating that you are working their which definitly includes your profession etc.
also initiate a communication with your HR team and make sure that you print all the emails ( you need to get an email from them stating that they don't give such letters).
try to get more reference including visitng card and send a detail email about your company policies, offical email copy etc

Thanks adisu01 and desertfox for reply

Got mail yesterday, 2132

Got the mail stating that they cannot give. Dont have their business card( dont think they will give). I have given all the experience and reference letter with affidavit while my application was sent.

Is there anyone who got call from CIC to their manager.

Is there anyone who had similar issues.

Go to your nearest police station and ask the process. Primary and accompanying dependent is required to have PCC.

If u r in New delhi..it is online now.http://www.delhipolice.nic.in/

My hearty congrats to you buddy...so happy for you...you got what you deserve +858. Wish you speedy process for your VISA :) 8)

*I think the deadline is 45 days to submit all documents buddy.

According to first mail ( with request letter), it clearly states 45 days Please comply by the mentioned requirements within 45 days from today.. Even in the request letter the dates will be mentioned for each document till when can you submit.

However, in the second mail (when you get IMM1017E form ), it states IMPORTANT: You are required to undergo the medical examinations within 60 days of the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.

So i suggest send your complete documents within 45 days.

All the best :)
