is there any hope that my application would be in cap.

You shouldn't b worried as there is still a little chance u have to fall in ur cap as still 70 around positions are vacant as this cap status should include apps of 1st week of dec. All the best.

There are 254 Pending applications waiting for MI acceptance review.
That's the meaning of this?

But I've submitted my passport last November.
Does it mean I can still be included in the pending applications?

Don't worry, you are cent per cent within Cap . Because, Cap is only 554 on 16-12-2014. For those who says, Cap is 554+377, I suggest to read instructions on Cap page carefully....!

How are you. Yes you are correct but I am saying this on the basis of latest cap update. I think CIC has included all the apps received till first week or may b of second week also of Dec in its cap update. So I suppose Lalit still stands a chance to be included in this cap although nt 100%.

Okay. Spreadsheet has the average processing time. I think it is around a month for Passport to be in your hand with Visa. Request you to check this spreadsheet as well and other people's timeline who got the visa.
