Don't Panic!

Don't assume anything about why you CCs have not been charged. The order in which CCs are charged may not be in the same chronological order in which applications are received at CIC.

Here's my case in point:

Applicants Javiya and Vicky-si from the FSW '13 cycle applied under the same occupation (NOC 0211).

Both, I believe, are Indians as their VO is New Delhi.

Both of their application were received in NS on the same day : 5/28/2013

Vicky-si's application reached CIC earlier (09:42 Am) than Javiya's (11:30 AM)

However, Javiya's fee was encashed two days earlier (08/10/2013) than Vicky-Si's (08/12/2013)

That is probably because Javiya's fee method was CC while Vicky-Si's was probably a DD you ask? No, it is the other way around! Javiya used a DD, while Vicky_Si used a CC.

Moral of the story: we really don't know how CIC processes applications and if it has any pattern with respect to charging applications. SO AVOID ASSUMING ANYTHING ABOUT WHY YOU HAVEN'T BEEN CHARGED YET AND, ABOVE ALL, DON'T PANIC!

As much as I don't want to create any fear in anybody, what you narrated above is a one-in-ten(1/10) scenario. The ideal situation which has been the case for years is applications are treated on FIFO basis. Whatever reasons that accounted for the scenario above can only be explained by CIC and its officials.

We are not creating panic but enlightening ourselves not just for the "NOW" but also for the "TOMORROW". People will read this in the future and we must make them understand the way it is....

To further buttress my point,we can see from the number of people whose CCs have been charged that they were treated chronologically ( on FIFO basis).

Kashish1728.... can you tell us how long does it take to get the PCC from USA(FBI report)..... i knw the webesite says 25 days but is that really true....

I had applied a month back and still not heard anything for my PCC. Also does it come by regular mail(i see that on there site they said they will send it by USPS)

Honestly, I have no clue, I just applied last week so I am still awaiting, lets hope that it does not take too long.

Hello All,

It is my first post since I started to watch this forum (about 1 month ago), I applied for 2171 and my application was received at 7, May. This is my first attempt, I never tried it before.

And all I can tell is, oh boy how stressful this process is, everybody (including me of course) here is dying for the CC charges, meanwhile many doubts and bad thoughts persists to come up.

So I was wondering how can a application (same NOC) from later date can be charged before ?

Example from global spreasheet:
blackorna - NOC 2174 - Received 5/2/2014 - Charged 5/29/2014
milansaha - NOC 2174 - Received 5/1/2014 - Blank

I would like to believe that everybody from 2174 received at 5/1/2014 was already charged but not updated the spreadsheet yet. Otherwise, maybe, the delivery order is not being followed by the book.

Congratulations!! :D :D :D :D :D :D
Everyone from the 5th who got their CC charged.. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Waiting for the 8th.....

Hi Guys,

I have UCI of my past Canada Travels like study permit, work permits ?

Should i use that UCI field or should i leave it blank.

Confirm please.

I can read -

Indicate your Unique Client Identifier number (UCI) or Client Identification number (Client ID), if known (8-digit number). Otherwise, leave it blank. If this is your first application with CIC you will not have a UCI or a Client ID.

This means i should put my past UCI number used on the permits ?

You read it yourself. Include it.

If your cc gets charged, does that mean you are qualified?

Not necessarily, but it means you passed the first hurdle: the immigration officer at the CIO looked through your application , considered it complete, and your NOC is still under the cap. After that, your file will be sent to your local visa office, and they are the ones who give final approval. They may ask for an interview, check your background, call your employers, and generally verify your information. When they are satisfied, they will ask you to undergo a medical examination. Barring any serious medical condition, this is a very good sign that you will be approved. If you pass the medical, they will ask for your passport to stamp the visa, and they will return it to you together with the Certificate of Permanent Residence.

Despite the appeal of so many members on this forum, many silent visitors have decided, for whatever reason, not to enter their details on the global spreadsheet and are only now starting to emerge out of the woodwork!

So much for the spirit of helping each other and sharing whatever we know!

2May, 2173 Applicant..No update on CC encashed.. waiting keenly..fingers crossed..since 5/5 CCs are getting encashed now, dont know what to expect now.. either its game over or its a very very very painful wait...!!
