I am also confused. I think that total of both is not counted towards the CAP, but only those who have received PER are counted towards the CAP. The one which mentions that counted towards the CAP are those applicants who have received PER. Whereas the "Pending Applications" are still pending to be reviewed and therefore they are not counted towards the CAP. From these pending if all are issued PER then they will be added to the CAP. Means we can say as under:-
Total Applications with CIC = 11544+4565 =16108[size=18pt]+Not Opened Application Parcels(x)[/size]

We can not know that what is the value of Not Opened Application Parcels(x) ????

Maybe CIC will make this secret also available on their applications received update page, so that as soon as courier person will deliver the "Application Parcel" to the door step of CIO, the person sitting at CIO will pick up his scanner device(like courier persons have) and will scan the bar code of the AWB and immediately the total number of applications entered in the CIO building will display at the webpage.


Other members please also debate whether this is the correct understanding of CIC latest update on 16th December.

GUYS AS PER MY UNDERSTANDING,M 12 JUNE APPLICANT ,PACKAGE SENT BACK ON 12 SEPT EXACTLY THREE MONTH AFTER,AS I HAVE RECEIVED MY COMPLETE APPLICATION BACK ON 14 NOV,ON THE APPLICATION STAMP OF CIC WITH RED COLOUR IS AND DATE RECEIVED IS STAMPED AND IS KEPT IN QUE,EXACTLY AROUND 80-90 DAYS AFTER APPLICATION RECEIVED IS PICKED TURN WISE AND CHECKED THOROUGHLY ALL THE COLOUMNS FILLED BY US AND IS MARKED TICK WITH PENCIL,IF EVERYTHING IS FINE PAYMENT IS MADE THROUGH,AFTER RECEIVING PAYMENT IT IS PASSED TO IT TEAM FOR PER MAIL.FILE NUMBER IS ISSUED ON THE SAME DAY ONCE IT IS PICKED FOR COMPLETENESS CHECK AROUND 80-90 DAYS.NOW M 20 NOVEMBER APPLICANT IN 2241 NOC.

CAN ANY 1 HELP

I have applied for FSW under NOC 0121 on Sept 16 & recd a text from DHL confirming that my courier was delivered on 24/09/14 & signed by Milke. I have not recd any further contact from them. Bank has confirmed that the DD is still not en cashed.

Any 1 with update on when was the last PPR NOC 0121 that too for some one who sent a DD ??

I want to share with you the following and I appreciate your insights:

Application has reached CIC on October 22nd under 2132 category
another mail was sent on October 23 to combine a corrected form which reached CIC on October 27
An email was sent to CIC to confirm the same on October 28
Mode of payment DD: Still not charged according to the bank
UCI: Is available from 2012 and showing ' could not identify you....'
CIC replied the email on December 17 stating:
' Due to the large volume of incoming applications since the new minsterial instructions for federal skilled worker category in May 2014, our office is experiencing a slightly longer delay than normal in the creation of applications. Please allow 1-12 weeks for creation of your record in database'

What does their reply mean in relation to the 207 application of 2132 that are still pending? Doesn't this give an indication that 2132 October applicants are not included in the 207 applicants? I notice that they did not say we could not identify your applications, just talking about creation of application!!

Your insights please.

I hope this can clarify something about the column titled ' pending applications' in the last update. My understanding is that those included only who were DD or CC charged otherwise they will not be classified as waiting for review.

Guys!!! I am dying of anxiety!! I am an 18th June applicant who got the PER on 17th Oct..My second line was also updated around 25 days back...No MR till now!!

Anyone else facing similar problem? I have my hopes and future banking on this decision!

With shaking hands and emotion of disbelief I would like to announce safe receipt of PER mail in my inbox

Date of application: 4th September
DD charged : 24th November (as per CIC) & 26th November (as per bank)
PER: 19th December

Will update spreadsheet soon..... once the feeling sinks in... coz as of now my heart is pounding, my hands are shaking and my eyes are denying to recognize any letter that I am typing.
