Just got mail from bank that our DD is en cashed in 28 November. Feeling a bit relieved. Now the wait for PER commences. Details of my application are as follows:

NOC :2131
App received by CIC:10th September
DD en cashed : 28th November.

Will they (NDVO) ever be fast in issuing PPR? Only 4-6 PPR till date for those who have applied in May. What will happen with us (August applicants). So many backlogs.

Was really dumb after reading the xperiences faced by "Three star"..... yeah being in nursing field unlike middle east one cannot get into the hospital directly once landed.... nursing registration another big task and they say minimum 1 year of study for competency assessment is compulsaory now a days..... but once cleared those competency gaps and recruited in a hospital life changes a lot....What ever the Miseries encountered n early days worth a lot.. as having granted to have a secured job...
Above all " Faith in God and Confidence in self" will definetly brings prosperity..If God took us there sure he will lead...
Jus Praying all of us should settle well without having much bitter experience...Lets pray for each other

Fed up of waiting for the MR, I am planning to write to NDVO, asking about the status of my application.

What do you think I should include apart from File number / Name/ DOB / Passport Number?

Also what subject should I mention?

How much time do they take to reply?

NEW MEMBER (LIKE MYSELF) OF THIS FORUM LITTLE BIT WORRIED. COZ THEY ARE NOT GETTING PATIENCE MORE LIKE SENIOR. ANYONE CAN TELL ME THE TIME (DAYS) NEED FROM DD TO PER MAIL.

this is really frustrating as we dont know why they are doing so, they should at least intimate applicants why the delay is like in general, if not possible for every case.
i dont thing the delay is for security checks as why all ppr's came only in 1 day. if sec checks were the reasons, they all would have come at different dates..this is non sense on behalf of NDVO.

I don't understand the impatience here. If we look at the processing times for India that CIC was offering at the beginning of FSW 2014, it was 20 months. They are already well within the timelines that they offer. Do you really think they have a need to intimate applicants who have waited for PPR for a mere 3 months with the reason for the delay? I know that other VOs have worked faster. But to give NDVO some credit, they are processing double the number of applicants than its nearest competing VO. So lets give those guys some break. They are working as hard as they can...

Dear Forumites,

Just wanted to get your expert advise on below.

One of my friends got PER on 30th Oct,he is July 3rd applicant, visa office NDVO.Still awaiting MR from NDVO

His consultant told him that MR from NDVO will get delayed as they are launching express entry and once express entry comes in then FSW will get only second priority? Is that true?

I don't know the truth but I am a realistic person, and it is my personal view that yes, currently all VOs must be undergoing some kind of preparations and training for EE, and I am extremely sure we will be second priority applicants. I read that "higher quality applicants" thing in CIC site, and I was extremely appalled by it. Maybe they will assess us as per EE standards — unofficially of course? And EE applicants were promised less than 6 months processing — OF COURSE we will be constantly pushed back in line.

Well, immigration is not a right, it's a privilege, so we must just humbly wait and hope for the best.

now 2nd line update is we have started processing your file on 10th Dec.
