I shall dispatch hopefully my second application on 18th Dec,2014 in evening from Doha, Qatar (all shipments to Canada from Doha are routed through Dubai-Hub, for all courier services).

Which service from following should I use in order to avoid any unexpected delay:-

DHL
Fedex
Aramex

sidhurose is a new newbie on the forum and doesn't know how to post his query

Please help sidhurose to sort out his following query

"I applied in Quebec federal skilled worker program in march 2014.n got my file no after 3months nothing else till now then federal skilled worker program opened and I applied in it too n got my federal skilled worker file no after 4months on November 10.when I checked my federal skilled worker application status on CIC site it was showing in process at that time but now its showing we cannot find you. Why? Have they closed my federal skilled worker file? Should I send a closing application to Quebec? If yes how much time will it take to close my Quebec case?"

Depends on date of PCC
(1) IF PCC was older than 3 Months while applying- They can ask for a Fresh one.
and
(2) IF the PCC self expires prior or during the processing ( IN some countries the validity is Six month and in Some One year) they will ask for fresh PCC>

if above conditions are not breached , I think they will not ask for fresh PCC.

Thanks for the info!! I have two further question on this.

My PCC was hardly few days old when I had applied. So hopefully NDVO should not ask for a fresh now.

1. I'm not sure about the expiry date of PCC as there was no expire mentioned on the certificate. Any idea how many months the NDVO PCC is valid?

2. I have another set of PCC with me, as I was issued two sets and I had sent 1 set with my application. In case NDVO asks for PCC, Can I send the one I already have?

If the documents will be dispatched on 25th of december , then it will be received by CIC in the first week of January 2015 ( Confirmed from all the delivery agents like DHL , FedEx, UPS etc .. And there will be a significant delay due to the holidays ) . Will that be acceptable by CIC , as the IELTS result report will be received on 25th ... please advice ...

Payment deducted by CIC on 08/09/2014
PER Received by CIC on 11/09/2014
Application Started Processing on 26/09/2014
Received Medical Exam Instructions sent by VO on 30/09/2014
Request for RFPR Fees by VO on 30/09/2014


After getting medical exam instructions from VO I inform about the pregnancy of my wife. They replied that we can send the medical exams along with baby documents. Visa officer asked me to re-fill the New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant. Now my question is do I need to fill IMM008 Generic Application form only or I have to also fill IMM008 Schedule 3 and IMM008 Dependent form.

Please help me on this issue.

Did you ask for an Express Delivery?
I don't think they will accept an application under FSW on January.

Hi every one.

Alhamdulilah. We completed our medical today (me and my wife).

Does any one know, what's next? how and when I will see ECAS update? When will I get passport request?

Do I need to send LVO to inform them that my medical has been done, as they mentioned in their last email that they only await for our Medicals now?
