Plz help me !! My situation is as follows, after the new year, our company will terminate its activities in my country (the central office is in another country), but still I have not found new job. What would you do, just send to VO mail with description of my current situation that the company suspends its activity and I likely to be temporarily unemployed after new year? how they would react to this? At the end of the year or at the beginning of next month hopefully I will have checking of my background from VO before medicine and I am afraid that if I do not report them in advance about my situation, when they call my current work (in our main office in other country), my current employer will say, that I no longer work due to the directions above and the officer will be disappointed and will consider this fact as misrepresentation ... If you were employed at the time of sending the applications and you clearly stated it in your documents don't worry, you are fine. Being unemployed is not a cause of rejection. Just inform your VO about your temporary unemployment and that's all. Good luck.

i, Need guidance from the seniors.

I am June 30 applicant NOC 1114. Got PER on Oct 27. And waiting for MR.
After filing first app., I filed another app on Sept 11, under NOC 4011. But as soon as I received PER for the first app, i mailed CIC to withdraw my second application. I have not received their response yet.

In all probability, they will cancel your second one irrespective of if you have requested for cancellation or not as your first application has received positive eligibility. So two applications wont be proceded with. We are allowed to submit more than one application under various NOC to cover the risk if one gets negative assessment,second one might fill in for the chance but you are fortunate to have it shot in first instance and hence they will send back second one without charging the fee.

Now, I want CIC to not withdraw my app and let it get processed. (I just wanna be double sure about my canada dream- thats it- noother reason)

Question:
1) what should I do? Should I call CIC and ask not to withdraw my second file? or mail them today? or do both?
2) will they have read my mail by this time? cz they have not replied me yet.
3) If they have read my mail and sent my file back- Do i have any chance?

I am behaving a bit immature but I dont know what NDVO would be doing with my first app and do not the exact process they follow after PER- I mean only background check or matching NOC and duties and all- I have a concern there.

After you get PER, there are practically "Zero" chances of applications being rejected.
Practically you dont need to process second application. (that to at the same processing VO)

As mails to CIC and blocking merchents with banks seems does not work -
Simple way to cancel your second application is to "Cancel you credit card" and apply for new one as soon as you get PER for first application.

There is an important point.. The visa is valid for 12 months from the date of receiving of medical results as per many applicants have mentioned So, I think Vo's will not delay the requesting of passports more than 90 - 120 days

Dude,

Look at previous FSW intakes. Applicants used to take medical tests two or even three times because they expired while their application were processed.

Oct 27. and I filed my second app on Sept 11, 2014. Actually , irony is after sending them withdrawal mail on Oct 27, today I want them not to withdraw, charge and process my application even if my first app goes thru.

Actually, I don't know, but nearly 45 days have passed since you sent the email, and you should receive a reply from them soon (Typical waiting time for a reply to an inquiry is 40-50 days).
You may try to call them, but I am not sure if this will help.
If other members recommend doing anything else, please advise.

Not practically zero, there are still many factors that could lead to rejection of Permanent Residence, remember there is a Background Check, an Admissibility Check, Medicals.... But true, after getting PER everything should be easier.
