The fact that you don't agree with his opinion doesn't make his opinion ridiculous.
You must understand that people are trying their best to give advice from experience. Many colleagues in my stream of FSW2013 did exactly as he said and it was positive.
If you don't agree with a forumite's opinion or even if his opinion is not in order.....doesn't make it ridiculous.
There are constructive ways of disagreeing with a person's opinion.....and definitely, using ridiculous is too harsh in all ramitification.
Cheers.

Fair enough. If people wish to disregard the questions on the forms that is their prerogative.

Experts, a quick question... Please reply...

If anyone does not want to claim points for his accompanying spouse, does he still required to send Spouse IELTS record with his application package? Is it mandatory to sent out with application package?

If Yes; Please help me to get the link of requirement...

If No: When actually CIC will ask for spouse language proof? (I mean in which stage)

Century brother please help me with this

As you mentioned:

"SSC: XXXX-Jan to last month of SSC exam held
HSC: 1st College attendance month to last month of HSC exam held

If you forget, estimate but try to ensure that the duration is 2 years."

I am confused for secondary education xxxx-Jan , the year should be which year? should it be the year of Grade 6 ? As it is considered part of secondary education , or grade 9?

Please suggest

There's no need at all. If you have enough points without needing your spouse to take IELTS, then he/she doesn't need to take the test at all, and CIC will never ask for their language proof at any point in the process. The principal aplicant, on the other hand, must submit his test scores and they must be at least 6.0 in all four sections.

I need help please ! As we collect and collate our docs,we keep detecting one or two issues we fill might disqualify us. Please if i have Job duties and title that matches a particular NOC with my first(previous) work experience of 5 yrs plus and i have currently with my new Job a different Job title but with same Job duties that matches the NOC in question, what do i do ? I need help please !

No problem! Just get a reference letter from all employers (particularly the 5+ yrs one, that is almost max points right there) and fill out everything correctly and you should be good.

Dear bro,

Its not mandatory to show IELTS score for spouse if u do not want to claim points......even on later stage...

So just apply with ur score if u have already 67points...:)

Hello everyone!
Can someone please help me on the following queries:

1- Do we have to notarize the photocopies? A lot of people are saying no need to do so, but the guide on CIC website says that all copies need to be notarized by Notary public etc. So what is it that needs to be done?
2- People say it does not matter whether its "The Receiver General for Canada" or "Receiver General for Canada", will any of these work?

1. It is better to notarize all the photocopies you sending to CIC.....

2. You can use either... I used "The Receiver General for Canada" even though in the doc check list it mentioned "Receiver General for Canada", CIC encashed my DD without any problem....
