thanks sunnyvin for your reponse... however, you did not understand my question. i have submitted, along with my app, pcs from the countries where i lived and live in the past 10 years. however, i did not submit pc form the usa, where i've lived before 2003., which is 11 years ago. my question is: do you guys think that LO will ask for the usa pc as well, since i was over 18 years old when i've lived there (but over 10 years ago)? i hope my question is clearer now :)

Your LO can ask for USA pcc. As per the CIC website:

Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.
Since you were over 18 years when you stayed in USA, therefore LO may ask for the same.

Hey bosschips!
As per my understanding, the applications are reviewed by different CPAs who are responsible for different NOCs (ie. 'financial', 'medical', 'IT', 'managers', etc.). They proceed with varying speed, so although FIFO principle is observed, the difference in Sydney TAT is likely attributed to this routine.

Besides, some applications are randomly selected for QA, and are put through PSO revision, which once again leads to delays in processing.
Who are the fast processing NOCs? is it finance, medical, IT, Managers or other?

No one knows what is going to happen in future so we should not say like that... Just going to tell one story... I was in US couple of years ago and my immediate manager (from Chennai) was saying that he was born little late.. If he would have born little earlier then he would have come to US earlier means during 90's and would have got GC and Citizenship of America... I said that if you are repenting for that then why don't you repent directly that I should have born American...

This waiting is really killing us but we cant do much about it...

My daily route from home to office is through NDVO.. Yes.. You got it right.. I daily see Canadian High Commission board in the morning on the way via Shantipath.. and hope that today they will be working on PPR but.... In the evening every alternate day my wife use to ask when are we going to Canada.. When I got MR then I said that hopefully by end of this year.. But now I use to say don't know but inshallah we will go for sure.... If not then also wherever we will be will live happily.. We just have to try our best and leave rest on Almighty Allah...

CIC will not call you ever...... Only officials of local visa office may or may not call you for inquiry purpose after issuance of PER.

Latest CC Charged: 02 October (NOC 4011 as per SS) 05 & 08 Oct entries don't seem genuine entry created & updated at around same time.
Latest DD encashed: 16 September (NOC 0113 as per SS)
Latest PER: 02 September (Member named Samoo2014 NOC 1111 but his entry as per SS is quite mixed up

Yups, that is fine. It might be valid for one year but that is when your application is received by CIC. As per the CIC website:

Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.

If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.
See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

yes, my main issue is that they say it HAS to be turned in since the age of 18, but for all other docs where there is such clause, they also state "or previous 10 years, whichever is more recent". and with the old app, they kept my usa pc, and i heard that now it takes over three months to obtain another one, so i'm thinking should i start looking for new one or wait for LO to ask for it. but then, i'm concern about the time restrains.

Matriculation certificate has date of birth and parents name .May be they want to cross check these things.

Hi All,

I have a query regarding the Application Rejected and returned because of the Job Duties are not matching with the requirement for that particular NOC. Are those cases already charged by CIC later on rejected or is it before charging during the Completeness Check itself?

Appreciate the response on the same.
