I called them initially to get this info....however the concerned official had no clue about it...it was when i called 3 times that i got this information. I would suggest you to email right away with the information as it is the first thing i'd do. get the automail and tehn probably ring them asking the status of your request.

My application was received on the 23 October 2014. Wanted to know the update on charge date or hear from the CIO Office.
Just keeping my fingers crossed as that's the only option I can get a confirmation that my application has been received.
Please help if any one can provide any details on this.

Can you please clarify- I have received medicals request, can I get my medicals done in INDIA during my holidays and my spouse and child can get their medicals in UK as they are not travelling with me to India. Our application is dealt by London, UK office as we live in UK as British Citizens. I have tried to find this information on CIC website but could not get any details.

I am june 15th applicant and I have sent my medical results and additional documents that they asked for a week ago.they were received on Dec 1st.

Hi, just thought about posting some observations which i detest--

1. Members telling other members to update SS
2. Some strange members not trusting other member's posts for example PPR issuance posts etc, Why do you need proof?? Who are you? :-\
I do not think there is enough time with any1 to mislead people.
3. Asking to reply when a reply was posted long time ago
4. Multiple and duplicate posts as if some1 will answer if you post it 10 times
5. People not saving SS edit/update links :-X
6. Posts in non-english languages
7. -1's which are uncalled for. Will -1 or +1 help you in canada ;D
8. Posts about EE, Isn't there another forum for that?? :-\
9. People not updating complete profile details which show up on left side, Who will steal your info?? or are you just lazy??

Unfortunately about 5% people have forced me to post this!!!!

Show some respect, gratitude and trust.

You will require all of this when you land.

All points are good but I didn't understand as why you have mentioned point 1, "some people asking others to update SS is annoying", Many newbies don't know if there is a SS even for them to update their infos, so when admins and seniors asks others to update SS is for us new ones to seek information from this GOD gifted free forum giving premium service, can't we update our info for future new applicants when the seniors have updated their's for us? Sounds selfish if we don't , I think we DO NEED a constant reminder to update SS since in happiness when we get CC/DD charged or even when PER is received many forget to update SS for future applicants very selfishly!

I'd recommend you to please apply through your new passport to avoid any risk however PCC applied with old passport stays valid.
