There could be a bitter truth there. This is their major festival and it is the time of the year where they look forward to the long holidays though officially the holidays are only for a few days probably 24th and 25th. Seniors who are already in Canada for a long time may be able to throw more light on this.

Many people take a week or two off during this festive season (I will be one of them) but the CIO will keep processing applications.

They won't have whole staff working so expect them to slow down during that period.

Hey Friends; I would appreciate if somebody can answer me on the following:

1.) How many does VO gives to submit passport if and when PPR email is received? I am asking because I am in USA, but my VO is NDVO; so I may have to travel to India. 30 DAYS

2.) Also, is it possible to get PR stamping done in USA if your VO is NDVO? Has anybody done that?...NO IDEA..SORRY

And i stayed in India in different states... Do I need PCC from all ?? If No then from where should I take PCC...

Friends, Pssport office issue PCC same day of interview?? or it takes time???

RPRF = Right of Permanent Residence Fee
The fee one needs to pay before landing i.e. $490 per person. Kids/children are exempt - FREE OFFER for KIDS

PCC - only from 1 state = Residence. No other states.
PCC is Nationwide

Issuing PCC, it depends on case to case, Permanent address and present address to match, any other change in PP etc...

WELL, I HEARD SOMEWHERE THAT NDVO WORKS ON INDIAN HOLIDAYS AND NOT ON CANADIAN HOLIDAYS. AS I WORK WITH A GERMAN MNC AND GERMANS ARE KNOWN FOR TAKING LONG HOLIDAYS ON CHRISTMAS. STILL IN INDIA WE WILL GET HOLIDAYS ON 24..25..26..(27 SATURDAY ..28 SUNDAY ARE ALREADY NON WORKING DAYS),,,SO I THINK NDVO WOULD BE ON HOLIDAYS SOMEWHAT LIKE THIS....JUST A THOUGHT..SO DONT WORRY BRO..HAVE FUN

Its better they take a day extra for their work off,
But whenever they are back to work, they should energize themselves and start just throwing MR/PPR
