Guys I got PER on 26th November and I am a 5th August applicant...and my VO is Ndvo....when can I expect MR... :-X :-[ :'( ...... waiting is the toughest thing to do.....lol.....

Hi Dears,
I've sent my file and received on 22 October .. Unfortunately, I discovered by chance that in my Generic form I wrote my name as the following
Family name: my fourth name , as usual
Given names : I wrote my whole name including the fourth name again mistakenly despite that I used my first three names only in the other forms and in all other papers .
I don't know what to do!!! I think it is such a stupid big problem !!

Dear..
As per my knowledge...she cannot undergo medical test on this period due to x-rays(radiation).So plz inform VO about your situation and they will postpone the medicals till delivery and can be done after the delivery..ur application will be in queue till that time.

Thanks Shavi. But I called the panel physician and they said they will do the medicals for both of us except that my wife will not go for X-ray. So am a bit confused. Is it that she will have to undergo medicals now and then later after delivery too? Will the PPR be postponed till child birth?

Hi Seniors,

In IMM5669E i did not include some part of experience and career gap as i don't have proof as would count into points so i eliminated them.
cic requested me to send this document again indicating 10 years of personal history shall i include this too mentioning that as i have no proof as it was a small company and now mgt has almost changed which did not provide any kind of letters.

U cannot eliminate the GAP..U have to fill it and is mandatory.Think about some ideas which can be safe like..
Suggestions:if u were in native place on that time..keep status as"not at work" or "with family" or "business"..

Usually 45 to 60 days from PER which means it could be anytime within the next 20 days for you. Good Luck friend

U should ask VO for suggestions with a case specific inquiry.Panel physicians may say a lot of stories.But VO is is the final decision maker.Better you to inform VO..orelse they may feel like u hide something and through medicals VO came to know about the situation.

Hello All,

I have a quick query when i sent first package for my spouse i sent a PCC which signed by superintendent of police which states the following in the format:


o.no.DSB/verification
Office of Superintendent of police
Place Date

To Whomsoever it may concern

This is to certify that the applicant name resident of address of the appilcanthas been verified by this office . there is not adverse remark against him/her on record of police station.

Will this suffice or do i need to visit PSK and get the PCC from them?

One more query my spouse PCC was taken in the month may and mine was also taken in the month of may... do i need to take fresh PCC for both of us or can use the old one.

Approximately 1-2 months. We got MR after 1.5 months.
