FSW 2014 applicants from Nigeria - Let's network

Hello great people,

Please i have a question, following the inability to access mycic account because of use of representative, is it advisable for me
to stop his service since i'm already waiting for my pick up mail. some time it take them 2 to 3 days to respond to my mail and I dont have the pleasure of time.

Please seniors and those with experience should advise. Thanks.

Hi, it all depends on the terms of the contract you signed with them but the most important thing is that you have reached awaiting pick up mail. Once you send your passport and receive back your COPR and visas, the relationship ends. No need to be overly anxious or ruin a relationship, it will end in praise :)

However, if you still want to terminate the relationship, then refer to the terms of the contract you signed with him and in line with that, fill the 'Use of Representative' form accordingly and send to AVO. Ensure you have fully paid them up though for their service, cheers.

Thanks for the response PH, My passport will be a month with AVO by friday. just that I can't access my mycic account following the inconsistencies with AVO.
Regards payment, my representative has been fully paid for all his services. However, I will be patient till I laugh ;D ;D ;D and this will happen pretty soon.

Probably the delay is because of what is stated on my PPR letter. ## ("YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA(S) APPEAR(S) READY TO BE ISSUED, IF THERE HAS BEEN NO CHANGE IN YOUR FAMILY CONFIGURATION. IF THERE HAVE BEEN ANY CHANGES, PLEASE CONTACT OUR OFFICE BEFORE PROCEEDING. The visa(s) will be valid until the expiry of your medical results (21st April, 2017) or until the expiry of your passports, whichever is earliest.
As the validity of your visa(s) has been already established and is limited to a fixed date, it CANNOT be extended under any circumstances. We therefore urge you to read and follow carefully the instructions") ###

I guest that is the reason for the delay, I'm still hoping.

This is the standard content of the mail for PPR, so cant be the reason for the delay, just exercise patience,since they already have your passport in no time they will issue your pick up

congratulations are in order,another reminder that all applications are not the same,my documents was already in Lagos before decision made on ecas
 
I'll like to find out about the amount of money one can carry. Can one provide western union receipts at the airport as funds to be received or can one print statement of account from Nigeria if going with less than c$10k..

You can go with a very recent statement of account (on a letter head and stamped) from your bank in Naija.

Just as I registered on the forum, the thread goes cold.
Is it that AVO has included a confidentiality clause on visa process or no one is being issued visas on this thread??
Please let someone share some news let's celebrate jare!!
