Good morning your excellencies, distinguished ladies and gentlemen,

It is with great pleasure and thanks to God almighty that I announce the arrival of our Visas and COPRs yesterday. It has been God all the way, all glory, honour and adoration be unto Him alone. Our timeline is on the left.........

The saying that every application has different stories behind them and each application has its own peculiar circumstance is very true. Just in case you are still doubting this, will you believe that we were never asked for proof of funds? We stated what we had at the initial point of applying, then we prepared for it but we never sent it and AVO never requested for it. It is definitely the grace of God that cleared that path.

A very big thank you to @pace for the advise and encouragement to explore other immigration options apart from the Quebec Skilled Worker application in 2014 (applied for QSW since mid-2014 and we are yet to get any correspondence or medicals till this present moment...... I have sent a request for the agent to withdraw the application as soon as PPR landed).

A very very big thank you to @PH for starting the forum.......... you will never know the value you have added to people's lives through this medium. My family does not really know much about these processes but we decided not to use an agent and whenever we checked here, there is an answer waiting for every concern. My brother, you can't lack anything good in your life in the name of Jesus Christ. We will definitely meet very soon. Thank you so much.

@Neyobash, omo egba 1 of the universe, God bless you more and more abundantly. I really appreciate the help and I am very grateful for the smooth process of sending and receiving the passports. You are in my prayers bro.........we must meet over there. God will make a way at His own time. Please believe!

To every other person expecting one good news or the other, the Lord will answer our prayers and give us multiple reasons to praise His name always. Though it tarries, it will come......... I believe.

Shalom!

Congratulations Ayan1

Thanks PH, however, I am destined for Calgary do you know if same will still suffice in Alberta?

A question to the experienced ones: Our flight itinerary shows we have a layover of 2:30hrs/Aircraft change in Toronto, our final destination is Calgary. Where do you guys think our landing will be? I mean validating our COPR and other documentation? TORONTO or CALGARY?

No need to renew if it is valid as at when you land and present it to write the G1 computer test in Ontario. The minute you pass the G1, you get your temporary licence and can quickly book a date for your G2, the practical road test with which you can drive inter city.

Congratulations Gentle Ace, phase one wait is coming to an end soon.

Congrats @Ayan1. I am happy that it has ended this well. I can imagine when we started the Quebec process and we were made to write the French exam :)

To everyone still expecting one update or the other, please keep the faith. I will leave you with a message a landed colleague posted on another thread to encourage someone "Hello everyone, Happy new year and I also apologize for disappearing for almost two years now but it is for good according to my bros Omo Naija. Settling down in this beautiful country takes a lot of our personal time strategizing on the way forward lol. so make una forgive us for the long silence. I miss everyone for real.

I just wanna share the goodness of God in my family. We packaged fsw application for my younger brother through the express entry system (note that he is less than 30yrs old, single, and has a masters degree), he was invited to apply in January 2016, by early march 2016, we submitted the application (note that he did his medicals, paid for application and rprf all at once), and to our greatest surprise, last week April 14, he got an email for an update in his express entry profile. Lo and behold, it was passport request. it was unbelievable because his application was about five weeks old. We have sent his passport for visa issuance. I give God all the glory.
"

It shall end in praises for all of us. God bless!
