Praise God!I have being a newbie but a silent one just so I dont get stressed from the waiting game but God has done it we got ppr today!!! Am overjoyed .they askedfor updated proof of funds and updated police report.my issue is I dont know if iwill have to apply for the uk police certificate bcos I lived there btw 2008-2011. Or just the nigerian police certificate.advice please.

For the PCC it is usually stated for which country. If you want to get for the UK u can get within 4 days, I did and it came in 4 days.

Apply for the express. its about 80 pounds i think and courier to lagos is like 45 pounds but u will get it within 4 days

I applied for UK PCC last December and got mine under 4 days. I opted for it to be posted to U registered address as my cousin was coming home that period, so I saved money by not paying for express delivery

Congrats on your PPR! Well, truth be told, you shoud have prepared and received your UK PCC ever since so you don't get boxed into a corner now. The guidelines were clear that you need PCC for every country you visted/resided over 6 months. In your case, it was 3 years in UK. What were you waiting for to get the PCC? Send the passports with Nigerian PCC first and hope they overlook UK. But in the meantime, also process the UK PCC.
If AVO writes back and ask for the UK PCC, tell them you have requested for it and request an extension of time to get it back from UK. If they don't request for it, keep your PCC for future reference, you will need it. All the best.

Thanks everyone! I actually submitted both pcc when we summited the initial application in 2013 am surprise they are asking for it again. I guess I would appl for the express one and hope it gets to me soonest

Do not use acronyms. Make sure you do not leave any gap in time. Indicate all addresses in home country and other countries (if applicable) since you reached the age of 18. Make sure you do not leave any gap in time. You must declare if you have been refused any visa or immigration applications in the past from any country.
