Please I have a query about the PPR process and I was hoping the more experienced members can shed some light. I went to DHL yesterday to submit the required documents and the DHL person told me that they no longer accept pre-paid return envelopes. He said what they do now is to send the passports to Accra and when the visa is ready, AVO will send me an e-mail that the visa has been issued, then I will return to DHL to fill a consent form instructing DHL to pick up the passports in Accra.

He said it is at that point that I will pay for the return envelope and DHL will pick up the passports in Accra and bring them to nigeria. I am curious to know if indeed this is how the process works. Thanks

Hello, I think that's how all the courier services do. For me, i used UPS and i enjoyed their service (not trying to advertise though). I felt they were fast in my case and after my visa parcel came back, some money was refunded to me (I didnt even expect that). You are free however, to do use anyone.

Please I have a quick question for you. Do i need to refill the IMM8 form.

On the mail I got it says

☐ Updated family information: you must advise us of any change in your marital status or family composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM8 application form. Failure to comply may result in a delay in the issuance of your visa.

But there has been no change in my family composition.

Please advice.

@Ayobunmi05, if nothing has changed in terms of change of marital status or new kids, then all you have to do is basically re-submit the form you filled earlier but signed with more recent dates. Its pretty easy.

As per kids growing taller, I dont think that would be material , but you can put the new heights. In my own case, it is just wify and I so nothing changed really. So for us, the IMM008 form was basically the same as what we submitted before so we just printed the forms with the new date and signed.

Please help! do anybody add adopted child to their application? I need to know how the adoption document looks like. I did and I read from my recent GCMS notes that what I submitted as adoption document is different from the ones they have been seeing. Can anyone help with the standard adoption document.

Adoption is handled at the state level in Nigeria. Every state has their own child adoption documentation, so it can't be standard. If you did yours in Lagos, then ensure it was issued through the right guidelines and channels. Check them here, http://www.lagosstate.gov.ng/pagemenus.php?p=124&k=41

If you didn't use this means or the correct measure via any other state, DM me to duscuss this delicate and private issue.
