I hope something happens here before October 1st. The patience is is almost dried up.

Landing was quite smooth and seamless unlike the stories i read here.

I landed Calgary via Air Canada from London. the whole immigration and customs process for me was less than 20mins

No POF was requested. the immigration lady kept congratulating me like say i just born new pikin.

Customs gave me goods to follow form to fill and that was it.

let me sleep my 1st sleep in Canada.

were your kids born in nigeria?

Hi Engrted, sorry for responding late. CIC specifically asked for hospital birth certificates and yes the kids were born in Nigeria.

Hi all, just to encourage you guys. Your expectations will not be cut off but shall manifest in due time. I see a lot of people talking about AVO delays and being worried. I think we should apply positive thinking especially those of you awaiting advancement to the next level of application processing.
You should adjust your mindset as there is nothing like 'delay' from AVO. Rather, think of it as 'positioning of your file' by God for a favorable outcome.
Ask those people who AVO quickly processed their files but rejected their applications in the end.
You will then be grateful yours is on queue and not in the reject bin. Sometimes, being at the back is a blessing. Ask David, the last born of Jesse who became king of Israel. No matter,which position you are,favor makes the difference.
Remember, always look at the glass as being half full rather than half empty.
When it is your turn as ordained by God, your blessings shall come.
So relax for when God says yes, no man can say no, wether in AVO or Nova Scotia. Cheers

My family and I received our visas and Coprs this morning. Our God has been faithful in seeing us thru this process. For all others (including Sisi mee, Debruv, Ayoka & Flosure) awaiting one update or the other, God is on your case and it will come sooner than expected. God has a special order just for you! Just be patient, it will surely come. Thank you to everyone who has assisted directly or indirectly by posting updates, timelines, providing solutions to issues raised etc. May God reward your selfless work.

Hello dear forumites, long time! trust everyone is doing good? reading from the past comments i see ther is still a number of people waiting for some form of forward update or the other. especially from RK. he is my case officer too and i can see he is a very thorough person. let us remain hopeful as i am positive that the expected good news would come when we least expect. congratulations to everyone who has got some expected update or the other, it will surely end in praise for US ALL in Jesus name.

I applied for fswp on the 15th of december 2014 from the UK during my master's degree. Upon completion of my program I moved back to Nigeria. Subsequently I updated my new mailing address with CIC to reflect my home address in Nigeria.
Dear seniors kindly advise if my documents would be sent to Accra for processing. Thanks.

Same situation we have.
It depends on the visa office CIC deem ok for your application but I am of the view that London Visa Office will be your visa office provided you submitted sufficient evidence of leave of stay in the UK to cover your application period. However, Accra Visa Office or others might be your selected case office. In my case, I had the choice of selecting visa office of mine but I guess it was later yanked off the Dec applicants which leaves you at the mercy of CIC decision.
I am sure you will be notified of the Visa Office handling your case in the next correspondence.
