1. Your vitals will be taken i.e. Temperature, Height, Weight etc;
2. A physical examination of your Chest, eyes, ears and mouth will be carried out;
3. Your blood sample will also be taken to test for blood related diseases like STDs etc
4. Urine sample for urinanalysis
5. Chest Xray for TB related issues I guess?

Okay I think the house needs refresher course on pick up from AVO.
AVO Pick up 501;
Now that AVO finally write to inform you that your passport is ready for pick up...GBAM..that mail dey make person misbehave cos you will be so happy.
Now you need to get 3 things ready. Firstly, a scanned copy of the pick up mail from AVO and secondly, an authorization letter from you to AVO stating the courier of choice you want to help with the pick up AND finally your receipt of payment to the courier of choice so that your pick up can be initiated in Nija.

AVO will release your package to the courier after seeing your pick up mail and authorization letter. The authorization letter should contain your file number and all the passport details. Now to the part i find disturbing the way we behave. Once you pay a courier, you expect your package to be picked at that moment, haba my people, lets calm down. There are procedures for picking up and generation of your tracking number before the shipment is transferred to the airport for departure

@ kuskus: Its evidence of payment to the courier of choice. Teller or transfer schedule showing details of payment. Like for UPS you will need pay N18800 before your pick up can be initiated. AVO is not intrested in this one.

original offer letter from company - i dont have this because the offer letter was sent via email as i wasnt living in nigeria then and didnt bother to get one since company belong to my brother.I do have soft copy which was sent along the aapplication,How do i go about this? although i can get the a reprint of offer letter due to the fact my brother owns the company but the HR person that signed the offer letter no longer works at the company.

company code and registration with interior and exterior pictures -- this is no problem,can take the pics,do i have to take a picture of myself on my desk?


updated proof of fund- this is not a problem

hello Zarama,

on the original offer letter issue, I will suggest that you print the version sent to you when you were employed and also a copy of the email sent to you when the offer letter was sent to you. The email will show the exact date the letter was sent and some other useful information. You can then send a cover letter explaining that you were recruited from abroad and as such don't have original copy.

on your second question, I think it is okay to include the picture of yourself in the office. If you have a company ID card that you wear on your neck whenever in the office, please ensure this shows too. You may include picture of some you and your colleagues working too.

Just that the physical examination at Qlife did not cater for ears and mouth unless the small lady doctor was afraid I would end up kissing her!
Soundcode, just go for the test and know that it is going to end in praise.
