Saint been, congrats, and as you've been advised,relax and send only what's requested, your vo might be satisfied with what he has seen. But make sure your POF is on standby till you get ur passport.

@ Sainteben, Congrats on your MR, pls just go for your Medicals and when u are done scan the E-medical slip and send to dis email address: ACCRAIMMIGRATION@internationa.gc.ca as proof that u have done it. You don't need to waste resources sending it through any courier service to AVO, coz u may be asked in the nearest future to send additional document and u will have to pay again. So please safe your funds now, all the best in your medicals.

Departed PH Nigeria Monday 7th Sept @ abt 2100 hrs aboard Air France. Landed Toronto @ abt 1600 hrs on Tuesday 8th Sept.

Spent about 2 hrs at the airport for landing formalities largely due to the time spent with immigration processing PR application and Service Canada processing SIN.

Declared cash in excess of $10k and also possession of dried fish. No issues with those. Only got asked the quantity of the dried fish to ensure it wasn't commercial quantity.

No list of accompanying items asked. Only asked if more items would be coming unaccompanied. Told them I would come in with whatever we had left later, and the list as not required any longer.

Took the children for school/class placement assessments yesterday (already booked appointment b4 leaving naija). All went well. Only waiting for us to bring house lease agreement/address to place them in schools.

Bank accounts opened/activated with TD with credit card applications submitted.

House search/inspections continue today.

Been a wonderful experience thus far, though stressful.

If anyone has any questions, pls send PM's as I may not follow the thread on the forum so closely.

It will end in praise for everyone.

Welcome Linton since this is your very first step like you said, i suggest you take the second step by enrolling for IELTS(English language test) as well as getting your Educational certifications assessed by one of the authorised bodies, i used World Educational Services (WES), which i guess most peepz did as well. Other requirements/ procedures can be readily arranged when these items are available.

I will also advice you go to the CIC website and do personal research on Express Entry better yet join the forum that pertains to Express Entry as this forum particularly focuses on FSW which is a different program and has been discontinued.

Check at the last part of the whole mail. There should be initials in brackets. That is the case officer. Not withstanding go for your medicals and please be relaxed and try to use qlife if you can. As mentioned your case officer might be ok with your documentation but keep your POF handy till PPR time. It will end well definitely because Oluwa is involved.

The medical attachment form will come hopefully today. You dont need to send any receipt most of the hospital are e enable. You will also see at the bottom of the mail Regards Immigration officer ........
