Passport delivered to my Lagos Address (DHL) - 8th July, 2015

The documents will finally get to me in the US on the 13th July, 2015.

I want to confirm from seniors in the house, if an update made can affect my response time.I recently added my new passport and my baby's passport via ECAS. I am a September 15 applicant and I am yet to receive MR... Could my recent update be the reason for the delay.
