Some are of the opinion that MR is based on PER date,but carefully analysing our own spreadsheet clearly indicate that MR is based on application date.we have seen the last 11 Mr are all june applicants with october per but dont forget we also have some july apps with oct per without MR yet.
My take on dis is that AVO is mandated to complete d process in 12months maximum.

@Blackky, we share thesame date of receiving PER's, so I am expecting our MR's to stroll in thesame month and hopefully thesame date.

At exactly 4:23am this morning, I was woken up by the Good Morning kiss of God's Mercy as my Canadian Based Agent gave me the news of the receipt of my MR !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today 07/05 will make it exactly 7 months that I have been waiting....Pls wherever you are, help me to thank God!

For those still waiting, especially May and June applicants, be thankful to God that you haven't fallen by the way side. Regardless of how agonizing it is to rejoice with others who applied after you yet have received theirs (believe me, I know), join them to bless God as your own will surely come.

I am certain that for us all, IT WILL SURELY END IN PRAISE!!!!!!

No it is not specified as been part of acceptable POF. I also just sold a large chunk of my shares to add to my pof. I suggest you do likewise. Afterwhich you can now send evidence in form of CSCS statement before and after and instruction to stockbroker for sale of shares and possibly a receipt issued by the stockbroker.

I used CSCS statement, Pension fund statement and bank certificate (not statement) as POF for my application and i got my PER. This is to say that CIC accepts CSCS statement and Pension fund statement as POF.

To my understanding, shares are short term fund that can be sold T+2 (Embassies like USA and UK accept CSCS statement as POF). You can access your pension fund 100% as long as you are relocating (PENCOM ACT 2014). These are facts in the public place.

I do not dispute other POF i.e Statement, FD and so on.

Hello Unibadan, it is better to stick with cash in your account and fixed deposit. CIC is in Ghana not Nigeria and I am sure they have more than enough work to start reading about how Nigeria Pension Act and CSCs works. Remember this is immigration and not visitor's visa that we obtain from UK and other embassies in Nigeria.

Abeg, let us err on the side of caution.
