Also i dont know who this might help...after you create your canadian style resume, try applying to a few select jobs on canadian job sites. I did this and included my relative's phone number. like joke, like joke...i got a call back.

Can someone pls advice me on when to send AVO a mail notifying them of the addition to my family.
I received per feb 3.
should i wait fro AOR or just go ahead with the mail.

Hi, you can go ahead and update AVO now with the birth of your child by CSE, https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=accra

Ensure you attach the birth certificate to the CSE and begin to process the child's international passport, additional FSW application fee to cover the child and new POF for your new family size ahead of when AVO will fire you their "welcome baby" mail

Please extend our regards to your madam on the successful down load of the future Canadian.

Your PER will come definitely. The fact that others that submitted about the same time as yours have received PERs does not mean that the delay is attributable to using a representative, far from it. My wife is the principal applicant and we used a firm of immigration consultants and we got the PER immediately they received it from CIC.
Relax while you await the receipt of your PER any moment from now. Ordinarily, it usually takes btw 3-4 months to get PER, so you are still in order; however, we have some people who submitted and got theirs in less time. Notwithstanding, you don't have to worry at this point.
It will surely come by God's grace.

Thanks meemee. This information is very key & strategic to prepare ahead of our arrival at Canada. To buttress your point, a colleague of mine prior to his relocation to Canada; he started applying to Canadian jobs immediately he received his visa from AVO and he was having interview via Skype here in Nigeria. I guess when they found our that he was yet to land in Canada; he was then informed to contact them on arrival at Canada. That my friend is doing very well in Canada now. He is a Project Manager and recently moved to a new apartment.

So I encourage all the forumites to utilize this opportunity.
