Wonderful, it is indeed a good thing to share our timelines and experiences, for others to learn from and handle anxiety....we share the same passports received dates at AVO, so that is enough reason to set my mail inbox to auto-refresh.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) :) :) :) :) :)

Hello house,
I have just completed Medical with my spouse and children. I indicated on my application that my spouse will not accompany me because he is a business man. We have however just agreed that he should come along and explore the possibility of establishing a business in Canada. Is it still possible for me to include him as accompanying? How do I go about it?. Thanks for your usual prompt and useful advise.
.
The accompanying spouse thing is neither here or there. I say this because, weda spouse is following or not your POF will reflect the entire size of ur family. No subtraction. Also note that you were given a medical form for oga to do MR irrespective of what you ticked because they know dt anyhau, Oga must visit madam n the children ( or vice versa) . So relax n wait for PPR, they will ask u to refill general form IM 0008 if anything has changed in ur family . Its then u can tick Oga as accompanying (of course with an explanatory cover letter) n despatch all ur passports afterall he has been part of the entire process from POF to meficals. If ure still uncomfortable, sharply raise a cse or send mail AVO, dt Oga is following you. You would be fine.

Hello House,

Hope we are all having a fantastic day today and not just refreshing mails all day long.... :P

The journey I began in 2013 has finally ended with Part 1:

2013: I began to gather documentation for Manitoba Provincial Nominee. Paid a lawyer and lost my money when after submission, my application was rejected on the grounds that my sponsor was also sponsoring another person's application. I was so deflated.

2014: I picked myself up and started again by trying to apply for Nova Scotia Nominee Program using myself as the principal applicant. Decided to do everything myself and just when I was about to submit it, FSWP 2014 was announced. I was determined to take a shot at it. Waited endlessly for ECA because this time, my hubby was the principal applicant.

July 4th 2014: Said a prayer and sent off my documentation via FedEx.
July 9th 2014: Application Received in CIC, Nova Scotia
Nov 4th 2014: PER Received. Hubby waited till Nov 5th to show me >:(
May 18th 2015: MR, PCC, RPRF and Updated form request received.
May 20th 2015: All documentation & payment requested sent via email and courier
May 23rd 2015: Medicals done
June 11th 2015: Passport Request
June 12th 2015: Passports eagerly sent
June 19th 2015: Pick Up Mail Received
June 26th 2015: Passports delivered by DHL.

I pray that everyone waiting for a timeline free of time-wasting elements will not have their expectation cut short in Jesus Name....

Have a great weekend ahead.
Congrats Dear, nice to know you re also a 'never say never' applicant. ;D. My journey too strted as far back as 2006 but I never gave up. Congrats once again sis.

It would be easier to answer your question if you have categorically make it known if...
*Application Processing fee was paid for your non-accompanying Hubby
*Right of permanent resident fee was requested by AVO
*Right of permanent resident fee was already paid by you.
For Scenario one,If you have paid for application fees for him, there is a chance that AVO will request for RPRFfrom you which ofcourse means you have paid for the fees.......If this is\was the case, you can always raise a CSE now as a matter of urgency to inform them beforehand or simply wait for your passport request and indicate/change non accompanying spouse to accompanying spouse with a detail explanatory letter.
The above is scenario one......for scenario two.....its more urgent than scenario one because the processes needs to commence immediately.
Scenario two means that application processing fees for your non accompanying hubby wasn't paid/included during submission....which will surely mean that RPRF was not requested/paid from/by you. This scenario regardless of the medicals done by hubby needs you to contact AVO immediately with your intention to change his status from "non accompanying spouse " to accompanying spouse. This may delay your application a bit as you will need to pay the application fees and RPRF fees to complete your processing.
A non-accompanying spouse or dependent will normally not be issued confirmation of permanent resident by local visa office once such is declared as non-accompanying as they may/will have to follow the route of sponsorship later on.
With the little explanation that i have made,I'm sure you can deduce where you fall into and take necessary action before it gets overtly TOO LATE.
Summarily,If application processing fees and RPRF has not been paid for him,you need to act fast as further delay will not help.
Cheers.

you can complete a new generic application form and indicate that your spouse will be accompanying in the appropriate section. then send this form with other documents requested in the MR sent to you.

you may however include a cover note

2. I think is better for the person with the highest number of CRS score to apply, considering Age, Years of experience, IELTS score
3. Since your wife have a relative in Manitoba, she can as well try Manitoba Provisional Nominee
4. Since you both have same number of years experience, no issue then
5. Is only your wife B.Sc that WES will evaluate since she is yet to finish her Master no point will be awarded for this.
You can also use the link below to calculate your score

Thank you for the response, I will check the link now.
