Hello,
No RPRR was made,is this usual?. Please which hospital will you advise that has emedical facility?
95% of applicants doesn't experience this but ies fair to say that it has happened a couple of times.....you really don't have to worry....they will surely ask.Sometimes, the immigration officer handling your files detects early and send you the request to pay it within a week.Sometimes ,it's requested during passport request while sometimes,it's during pick up request that you will be asked to pay it.
Whichever way it is,you can't enter Canadian soil as a permanent resident without paying it.....trust me,you will still be requested to pay it.
The world is going digital and electronic now so it's fair to say all CIC registered hospitals in Nigeria are electronically enabled now......i stand to be corrected :D
Cheers

Dear Seniors,

Below are the main points of my query.
. I have received my MR (LVO)at 1st May and done our medical in 12th May except my wife X-RAY as she was 11 weeks pregnant.
If we do X-ray now, I think she will be able to only fly until before 32 weeks which is 25th of September.
We have total 13 weeks (3 months) left from now before completing 32 weeks for the remaining process (...any additional req...PPR and Visa).
Will it be reasonable to go for X-ray now and hope for rest of the processing within the above time line?
· If do the X-ray now and visa also issued to 3 of us but unfortunately airlines does not allow to fly or any other medical complicacy not able to fly, then would it be possible latter to add the new born in the application?
· If we able to land Canada before 1month of delivery, would it be possible to avail the medical facilities for delivery?
· Due to this X-ray now / or after delivery decision there must not create any complication in my application and I need your advice/guidance on this.
· Considering above could you please advise the best solution on how to proceed with the next steps?

Could you please help me on the above?

dubairolla. you should have allowed your wife to do the medicals...its safe for everyone. I have had cause to travel to Canada with my wife with a very huge tommy. we just collected a letter from our doctor here in Nigeria addressed to a medical practitioner in Canada that she needed to go for check up and that she was fine with the pregnancy. the BA officials did not even care much about the letter because I was with her. they even offered her wheelchair service...of course at a very minimal cost. she still has a looong way ahead to put to bed. so let her do the medicals now so that your general PPR will not be delayed

Do the one they have instructed you to do first. Go ahead with medicals once you already have the e-medical form. Keep your money in an easy to let-go status on your savings or card so that you can do the RPRF pronto when AVO requests for it...rejoice....

Do not fret, each case is quite unique on its own. Am guessing maybe background checks are still ongoing, but your reviewing officer has to issue a MR due to a timeline he has to meet up with. That's my guess tho.

Amennnn. I shall testify this week IJN Amen. :D

Guys,

Thank u very much, i just raised E-cas no long ago, send a detail email with scan copies of documents I made mistakes, hopefully it would be corrected b4 our MR. Thank you guys once again for always Being dere, it will end in praise for all of us in Jesus's name.

Pls which month is Avo issuing MR now, coz dis waiting game is killing peeps.

Enjoy the rest of your day you all.

jjalex,
Some forumites have advised accordingly. Fill Sched A form again and upload it to your CSE. It's just better to be safe than sorry. Once you declare before they ask, it's not seen as concealing information.
My family was denied Canadian Visiting visa initially in 2008, but after a subtle appeal, we were given the visas within about 2 weeks on the same application. That didn't seem to me like refusal since we were eventually given but to remove all doubts, I wanna declare it via CSE now.

DeeBruv,
The question regarding refusal of admission is different from the one of refusal of visas. The one of refusal of visas (Permanent & Temporary) is the one everyone is trying to understand and cope with.

Good evening forumites. The lord has turned my frustration to joy o. My PPR majestically and miraculously popped in today while still on bed. Was a bit reluctant to check the mail so i wont loose the sleep so i slept off. Was woken up by a knock on the door and after attending to the person i decided to check the message that pooped in. Hmmm lo and behold the long awaited message came in exactly 8.02 am and when i tried opening it(hands shaking, heart pumping fast) i jst saw the first line that said visa appears ready. I was so happy that i almost summersaulted forgetting i get belle.

God said in his words that what so ever you ask in my NAME , i will do it. He did not answer me when i was relying on my power but when i gave up all and handed to him, he showed up. My advise to all awaiting members is that in the journey of life, at one point or the other, God tends to forcefully teach us patience which i must confess i have learnt in this journey.

I give all the glory to God almighty the beginning and the end , the one who can do all things and can bend protocols for our sake.
Also i appreciate all the forum members who at one point or the other been so worried about my case (pipi husband, fnb, royaldee, angel eyes, and how can i forget u oga bensonams for your encouraging words. May God bless you all. I know i must have skipped some names but pardon me, the memory thing comes with pregnancy. I appreciate you all.
the lord who did mine will definetly do for all awaiting one update or the other.

God is good and his mercy endureth forever. The dream of having my baby in canada is real now. Praise ye the lord.

Congrats my sister.....Thank God u didn't somersault o!!!
