My personal advice to you is that you should be proactive, do something fast and do not allow this situation to slow you down. If they insist on you paying, pay the money and ask for the tracking number. Even if they claim to have sent it by registered mail, there will still be a tracking number. Tell them you want monitor the mail yourself. I still believe someone might be trying to extort money from you because I know UI verifies by email, Ife verifies by email and somebody just said on this forum that Unilag too does the same. Why should UNN be different? The CAPs are filling up. WES will still have to reply you, you will still fill the forms, send the forms and those forms will have to wait in the long queue behind the forms that are submitted before it in Nova Scotia.
By the way, I hope WES is the only thing you are waiting for to send the application?

I sincerely wish you Godspeed

Thanks for your concern. I applied for my transcripts with UNN and LASU since Sept 16th 2014 and sent my degree photocopies as well. up until now WES is yet to receive the transcripts from the schools. they have received my certificates and want to verify. i am being advised to wait for transcript verification so that i can do both at the same time. Does it take 1 month to process transcript in our Nigerian universities? i just wish i had not started the process. I do not know how I am going to meet the deadline of this Dec 2014

You don't need to evaluate both. Just do LASU. Maybe you should go there yourself if you are in Lagos. That was what I had to do with Unilag...

Ah!!! Sorry about that. Mine was returned last year for the same reason, but was able to meet up with this year's own. Hope you are on 2014 FSW band Wagon?

Thanks dear.
It's really a game of patience. Was really eager to get a notification that my application has been received, not until i read on a forum it takes 90 to 110 days. I don shift mind base to something else.

Wish everyone the very best.

Thanks Ussave for your response. Please go through my earlier post and understand the point I'm trying to make. I have pasted it in red below.

Hello everyone

I need some clarification on the issue of claiming points as regards ielts.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp

From the link above, I understand that a minimum CLB 7 = 16 points, CLB 8 = 20 points and CLB 9 = 24 points. Meaning that for CLB 7, an applicant is given 4 points per ability (irrespective of what the actual score of that ability is). For CLB 8, 5 points per ability and CLB 9, 6 points per ability. Anything below CLB 7 is not acceptable. Also meaning that applicants can ONLY get either 16 points, 20 points or 24 points. This is based on the assumption that English is the applicant's first official language. The applicant can only claim a maximum of 4 points in the second official language. Making a total of 28 points for language ability.

Is the above understanding and calculation correct? I'm asking because I've seen a different kind of calculation on this forum (not necessarily this thread though) that I find rather confusing. Points like 17, 18, 19, 21, 22 and even 23.

Please I need your inputs.

So what do you think?

Honestly, I do not know what more to say. Hope the seniors in the house can help out.

While waiting, you can send an inquiry about your package to this address: cio-sydney-search-enquiry@cic.gc.ca
Quote your date of birth, passport number, date ur package was delivered. They will reply after 21 days.
Thank God I did that, they told me they do not have the record of my application. I was told to send my tracking number. This I did and the next mail I received was that my application has been placed into processing. After all they are human too.
I always advice anybody that have not heard from them and is anxious to do the same.
Cheers

depends on the Qualification that is relevant to the NOC you are interested in. If the two are related, then use LASU, if u are using ur first degree, u might have to use UNN. U might have to also contact WES to know if u can withdraw a certificate.
