Hi bumpy5ng, the first place to start is the CIC - Citizenship and Immigration Canada website. At the website, you will learn of the requirements for immigrating to Canada as a Federal Worker. This link will be of help to you, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp When you have gone thorugh the website, we can assist with particular questions you may have.

In addition, study the application guide very well. All the information you need are contained in the guide: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp
If you have any further questions after going through the guide, then you may ask here. Depending on your profession, you may need to act fast. The "long lead" items that you need to get NOW is register and take the English Test (IELTS- General), obtain and submit your transcripts to the CIC designated institutions in Canada so that you can get your ECA report.

Hi Irele, there's really no time table to this. We are all waiting o. My application was received on May 12 in one of the hottest NOC, 1112. Don't sweat it, sooner than you think, your cc will be charged and you'll get your PER about a month later. All the best.

I Think at 50 posts you become a star member; at your 20th post you become a full member and at your 10th post you become a MEMBER & the owner of your profile... then you can have the privilege of modifying you profile and other forum preferences.
Other milestones I have noticed include 100th post, 200th, 1000th, 10,000th and 15,000th posts!

The listed professions above will get to the 1000 capping limit by June or early July,2014.

Please submit as soon as you can if your occupation falls within these groups.

Note: Numbers of applications receive as at today is still zero on CIC website. The numbers shown above are from reputable Canadian immigration law firm based in Vancouver and Toronto Canada.

Don't judge by the number of naija on this forum bro...
In my small workplace alone I know 4 peeps that have submitted their applications and several others working on their IELTS and ECA... You can only imagine what might be happening elsewhere!
