CONGRATULATIONS Yikelin!

Greetings people. I received an email this morning from AVO (extract in blue font under).
I see there has been a modification on their fees (with regards to the US Dollar equivalent). This goes to confirm that the Canadian Dollar has not appreciated against the Naira as much as the US Dollar. In fact the USD Dollar has slightly appreciated against the Canadian Dollar. The $150CAD fee for dependents below 19years of age is now $120USD.
Anyway I am not waiting to receive my draft before sending in the $120CAD ... no time to waste! I wonder why these guys just cant go ahead with the 140CAD I sent .. who tell them say I dey complain??

Congratulations to all the recent recipients of PPR, MR and PER .. especially PPR - you guys should keep clearing the top for those of us bubbling under! ;D

Hello T_Rap,

This refers to your above application.

We acknowledge receipt of the documents you sent for your child. However, we are unable to accept the included draft (US$140.00) as our fees have changed. Kindly visit our website for the current fee schedule and send a new draft with the correct amount:

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/ghana/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

In the meantime, the draft of US$140.00 has been returned to your postal address by registered mail. Please note that this will take quite some time to get to you; kindly wait for it patiently.

Thank you,

hello Members,

is it possible to ask for extension of the 15days given for PPR.....processing police clearnce might take more days...suggest what i should do pls?

Hi, yes it is but you have to attach a cogent reason and propose a date when you will revert. Please arrange all evidence you have to show that you are awaiting police clearance though I'm surprised you are being requested for PCC at PPR stage, this is normally done at MR stage. All the best.
