I don't know if this is good news but I got a mail from Cic yesterday. I would like to think it's a good sign.......I made 2 mistakes on my application. I didn't write my name on the fee payment form and I also ticked additional dependents on the checklist when I don't actually have any. My application got to cic on 23rd December. So I sent in additional documents, which got there 5th January. I also sent a mail with the scanned copies.

Extract below;

Please be advised that your application is currently undergoing processing in our office and the additional documents you submitted have been received on January 5, 2015.

DD cleared : 9 or 10 of February
PER: March 5, 2015.

This can only be God because I made silly mistakes which God covered up for me. For instance, my ref letter did not state that I am full staff and it did not state the number of hours worked.

It will end in praise.

Platinum PPR mail has landed ...landed 9.36am ...my consultant who is based in canada was still sleeping when d mail landed...and i was seeing pple update and being anxious...she finally sent the mail wen she woke up ......make una help me rejoice...was asked for uk police certificate.

Timeline
Application received - 12 June 2014,
CC charged last wk of Sept 2014,
PER recvd 8 Oct 2014,
MR recvd 3Mar 2015

Meanwhile, I need some advise as follows:

My daughter resumed undergraduate school in Canada in August 2014 (I understand from earlier advise on this forum & AVO that she can have her medicals in Canada while the rest of my family can do ours in Nigeria). Her TRV (temporary resident visa) expires May 2015 (based on her passport expiration date then, new passport to now expire 2019). However she has a 4 yr study permit issued at point of entry to expire in 2018. She was about to start TRV renewal process before the MR mail arrived yesterday. Plan is to land by late July 2015 with the rest of the family when the rest of the children schooling in Nigeria must have completed the session.(even though I expect that the PR visa would have been issued well before then) - hope this is not confusing! Now the questions are

1) Is it really necessary for my daughter in Canada to do another medicals given that she did one ordered by CIC less than a year ago June 2014) when she was applying for the TRV for her studies?

2) Can I ask her to not bother to renew her TRV since we plan to land in July 2015? Or will she be exposed (immigration wise) between May 2015 when her current visa expires (though she has a study permit letter till 2018) and July 2015 when we land to complete the PR processing?

May thanks for all the wonderful encouragement, counseling, etc on this forum...may all our expectations not be cut short in Jesus Name!

NB - I have challenge in trying to update my timeline on the spreadsheet on my ipad. Anybody have same challenge and a solution? Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I recieved my MR request today with RPRF.
No update on IMM form 5669 and PCC.
I earlier recieved POF update on 11th February and my documents got there on 18th February.
Thanks to Pipi's husband who patiently explained things to me and thanks to all the wonderful people on this forum.
Admins please help update on the spreadsheet.

My people my PPR came in a few minutes ago. I can only thank God for being with us all the way. I also want to thank you all in this forum you have been incredibly helpful. The day i submitted my documents to FEDEX after my MR, i came back to my system only to see the discussion on visa refusals as per form 5669 and i remembered i didn't fill in a previous UK visa refusal in my form. you guys should have seen me running back to the courier's office like a bat out of hell. I managed to retrieve the package and filled the forms again before dispatching it the next day. I said i wouldn't mention this until i get my PPR. Special thanks to Kollins who has been helpful all through the way particularly my MR period.
