I had a good feeling about Thursday the 6th of April 2017 and as expected, i got in progress from NA when i checked my cic. I became more optimistic considering a recent trend where fsw's get in progress and ppr on same day. woke up by 3.30am today, checked my mail and BOOM!!! "You have a new message in your cic account". Checked my cic again and BOOM!!! PPR Mail. I am so elated. 64 days from AOR. 8)

Congratulations to everyone on the recent updates, the speed will be maintained and no one will be left out. so you guys should start packing, spring is here,the winter wasnt too funny (though there is still snow forecast for thursday, i hope we will all get use to the cold and long winter months) ...in advance "Welcome to Canada"

Good morning house .I'm so happy to come across this thread. I just registered now. I and my husband are interested in working and living in Canada as skilled workers and I would like to do it myself if possible .
I noticed that some people here applied since 2014? Is that how long it takes?
Well here is our brief history ,pls kindly advice on how we can do this so we can come join you guys in Canada .
I'm married.I and hubby are 31 and 30 respectively.I have an LLB (Law)while hubby is a HND holder in Elect/Electronic Engineering,he also a federal craft certificate,trade test Grade 1 Certificate and Nabteb Certificate.
No kids yet but pregnant.
I have 5 yrs work experience while hubby has 9 yrs present work experience in a technical field with a Multinational company .
We have no contacts in Canada but we would like to leave and work in Canada latest by next year.
Pls friends, what's the best route for our profile . I believe that I've come to the right place filled with helpful immigrants .
I humbly await your advice .Thanks all.

I received mail from AVO to provide my passport, and pay for Right of Permanent Residence Fees, Police Report and also update with Medicals. Pls i have earlier done medical in June 2015. I have just applied for the renewal of my daughter international passport which we have not received. My questions are.
1) Do I need to go for a new medical as no new medical form sent to me
2) Do I submit the passport of the other members of the family and leave my daughter'sn out till it is ready
3) Do I need to go for a new police report.
4) I have the receipt of the right of Permanent Residence Fees I paid since June 2015. Do I need to pay for another one or Just send the receipt to them

Hello house,
I received mail from AVO to provide my passport, and pay for Right of Permanent Residence Fees, Police Report and also update with Medicals. Pls i have earlier done medical in June 2015. I have just applied for the renewal of my daughter international passport which we have not received. My questions are.
1) Do I need to go for a new medical as no new medical form sent to me Medicals are valid for only 1 year so the one which you did since 2015 is long expired. You need to go and do a new set for your family in line with their request
2) Do I submit the passport of the other members of the family and leave my daughter'sn out till it is ready No, it will lead to delay for everybody. Instead, immediately request for a time extension to enable you receive the new passport. Attach a copy of the expired passport to your email as evidence, you can even include newspaper clippings showing that there was recent shortage of passport materials in Nigeria to strengthen your request
3) Do I need to go for a new police report. Yes of course, Nigerian PCC is only valid for 3 months. That which you submitted since 2015 is long expired
4) I have the receipt of the right of Permanent Residence Fees I paid since June 2015. Do I need to pay for another one or Just send the receipt to them Send the receipt of the fees you paid in 2015
