I am so excited for you "incanada2016". Police Certificate Clearance in Abuja is very easy. Did mine there. Go to "The Nigerian Police Force (Force Headquarters)
Louis Edet House, Shehu Shagari Way, Abuja - Central Business District, tell them at the gate that you want to do Police clearance, they will ask you to off your phones and drop the phones with them, search you and direct you to the man in charge. Shine ya eye o, they will first tell you to bring 15k-20k but use sweet mouth tell them say na 7k you get, then the bargain fit fall for 8 or 10K. The guy will give you a form to fill, go with your passport photos and you will wait for about 1 to 2 hrs and pick your PCC. Then it is done. They are some ladies there that will want to do bone face for you, no send then, put 100 100 naira change for your hand make you take do "eshe goorn" for them. Wish you all the best, God be with you.
Lols...Thank You Bebisco! I"ll just do as u said.

Hello dearest e-family,

For all those awaiting updates, you can keep yourselves busy studying the DRIVERS HANDBOOK to drive in Canada. With your Nigerian drivers licence, you will need to take a test to get a Canadian drivers licence on getting there.
I hope this helps.

Happy New month my people! This is SOTAJ reporting live from Calgary. We left Lagos aboard Egyptair. Had 3 flights in all. Los-Cairo (5hrs 5mins),Cairo-Toronto (11hrs+) and Toronto-Calgary (4hrs 30mins). The flighs were all good but the services on Cairo-Toronto leg were world class (I no know why e no be like that from Naija). Landing formalities were smooth. No POF was asked and we got our SIN within few minutes at Pearson airport (as advised by the Immigration officer since we had enuff time to our connecting flight to Calgary).

The weather has been friendly since we landed.
congrats Sotaj

Hi pipishusband and everyone, pls i got an ECA with wes for my Law degree and this is what it says

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Bachelor's degree (four years)
CREDENTIAL ANALYSIS
1. Credential Authentication: Transcripts were verified by the institution
Country: Nigeria Credential:
Bachelor of Laws Year: xxxx
Awarded by: xxxxx
Institution Status: Recognized
Major/Specialization: Law
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (four years)
Remarks: The Bachelor of Laws is the first professional degree in law in Nigeria and represents the completion of three years of professional study in a Common Law Jurisdiction.
please do you or anyone here have an idea what points i should claim with the result of this ECA?

Also i already got an ITA before my attention was drawn to it. i have now ordered a second ECA with IQAS, if the result is better than this do i need to decline my ITA or i can substitute IQAS for WES?
your answers will be appreciated.

Hello iphie28,

I think you can go ahead to submit your application since you already received ITA. This means you have enough points already.

The seniors in the house will comment on your question on how many points you can claim. Alternatively, you can ask the EE folks at http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t267824.0.html
