FSW 2014 applicants from Nigeria - Let's network

Good evening seniors,

I have an issue i want to share with the group. MY family and I ' currently reside in the UK. Our current visa expired on the 30th of March(Which we forwarded a copy to CIC when it was issued) Before the expiration of this visa, We applied for an extension with the UK Home Office. Fortunately for me, I had to go back to Nigeria to extend mine.

On the 1st of April, CIC requested for our passports. Right now I am in possession of mine but that of my wife and kids are still with the Uk home office. My question is; Can I appeal to CIC for an extension for all of us? Do i send my passport alone and pay visa fee for all of my family?

Please your suggestions will be highly appreciated as i am in state of panic because I do not know what to do.

Request for an extension of time to provide all the passorts to LVO. Explain you had earlier updated them that your UK visas had expired and renewal is in the works with the UK Home Office. Based on that, wait for LVO to respond to your time extension request.

Don't send only your passport, it complicates visa issuance and you are better off treating this as an issue for the enitre family in one go. Let me know how it goes sir, cheers.

@Ghledhow, @PiPis Husband already responded to your query before I finish typing this. I will suggest that you follow it to the letter. You don't want to create unnecessary confusion at this time. You can attach copy of previous communication where you notified LVO about your UK visa renewal process.
