Due date of entry is 1 year after medicals. If you did your medicals February 28th 2015, then you are expected to land before February 28th 2016

I know someone who once had a case similar to yours...All he did was to put up a strong cover letter explaining to AVO that the money in his account was a gift from his parents to support his immigration plans. Luckily for him, the transfer came directly from his parent's joint account so he printed the bank statement of his parent's joint account and added a letter co-signed by his dad and mum saying that the money was a gift from them to support their child, and it was fine...he got his visa.....I hope this helps.
