Amen.... its amazing why dey so quiet about us.. that same AVO is issuing PPR to express entry applications. Two of my buddies just got theirs. To think dat dey only got ITA in April this year.

Hi Seun, I guess we attended same day, which was Nov 10. It was quite informative and educative. If you have not gone for yours better do for those who have MR and above.

Hello Dotsngr... Thanks for remembering us all. I surely believe that it is going to end well for us all to the glory of God Almighty. We need to keep the faith and be positive. It will soon be over by the grace and mercy of God.

I feel u Dr TARIO. when I initially applied in 2007 n had subsequent sets of 2010, 2011 getting thier 'pali' , when AVO did not even ask u don wash ur beans not talk of u don grind am? I felf so upset, dt I just allowed emotions get over me in 2013 , when they asked me if I am still interested ? This was after the M. I had cancelled our set. I said u know wht., just give me back my money. . One week later, I now discovered dt my colleagues that were my set, who had said they were still interested, were pushed to provinces of thief choice. ;D. They all landed last year while I had to strt AFRESH again last year. I barely got my visa before AVO went on PPR recess,
Moral of my story:- patience is needed to get to your bus stop. Pls hang in there! Jo ooo 8)

I keep hearing about this ...but we didn't get any invitation when we got our MR...is it compulsory?

I must say that this wait is killing, as I find myself constantly on the forum checking to see updates from anyone. I am an October 1st applicant. I received my PER on the 12th of January 2015. In May, I got married and notified my consultant, after which I successfully included my husband to the application and sent them by courier. I tracked the package and saw that it landed in AVO on the 11th of September. I have been waiting since then. I am yet to receive MR for myself and my husband. I just hope that this wait will end soon as I want to cross over the new year knowing that we are heading to our canaanland.

I know that we all are expecting one update or the other and I totally understand how we feel this period. But I trust that the God who has started this good thing is able to complete it. It will SURELY ALL END IN PRAISE.

If you have done MR and expecting PPR or you have PPR and expecting VISA or you have VISA already and have not attended COA - Canadian Orientation Abroad which is an orientation program/ seminar organized by CIC for immigrants to Canada, you are expected to apply online @ coa-oce.ca oriom.int/coa for free for seat reservations as we have just 4 classes this November for those already registered, i.e Nov 10, 12, 24 & 26. It's very necessary you apply though not compulsory.
