Hello House,

I have one quick clarification. I got an email requesting to update proof of funds and also saying: Also send a copy of your bank statement for the last six months into which your salary was deposited by your previous employer.

Since my occupation is my former job that i left in 2014 (i notified AVO of my change of job within a month), does AVO want me to send my bank statement showing the salary i earned in my last 6months with my former employer in 2014.

Or i need to show my current last 6 months statements i.e March 2015 - sept 2015. Also is it okay i upload the documents while i DHL the originals through case specific enquiry?

Anyone thats handled this please assist

Hello alnako, it's not about the time lag of notifying avo that matters, they just wanted to be sure if you really worked there. My husband who is the principal applicant switched job since may 2014, and we recently sent avo the details(reference letter, employment letter, salary account) of his new job when an update of POF was requested, after they got the documents few days ago RK sent a mail to submit former employers statement of salary account we sent him 1year statement. Get your current and former salary statement of accounts, scan the documents and send thru mail and also hard copies through courier, attach a cover note, indicate it in your cover note which one is former and which one is current and the periods salaries drops into the account. You will be fine good luck.

My esteemed seniors, friends and fellow forumites. I just sat down and reflected. Has any Nigerian applicant been asked to conduct sputum test as medical furtherance? I seem to be the only Nigerian facing this challenge for my spouse. Nobody in this thread experienced it. If anyone had, I know they would have shared their experiences with me. I need a word from whoever knows anything about the sputum test ordeal. If you cannot share it openly please send me a PM and I will be comforted. Everyone seems to be mum about it. Please help me.

No dearie, kids dont get BTA. Only from 12 years and above can access PTA. BTA is for those that have companies and it is 5000usd or its equivalent while PTA is 4000 usd or its equivalent.
