COA orientation was very nice yesterday. 'Twas fun and enlightening. With lovely awaiting Canadian families in attendance. Lots to eat n drink. Trainer was down to earth and realistic, having passed through most of what we r facing or would face. Hmm, if u going next, dress covered cos it's a cool room. And also prepare to sit for long, it's strictly 8 - 4, with just short breaks in between. But it's not a too formal setting sha. Quite very interactive. U might jot all ur questions down before u go, but believe u me, the training would cover almost any questions u might have.

They even gave a certificate of attendance. My first Canadian cert lol. Also given usb disk that contains all the website resources u would need. Checked it out yesternight, it's quite loaded tho. Imagine 4gb usb o for just a 15 MB pdf file, hmm very organized country. Hmm what else o ? Don't be late 8am is 8 am. What else again. Any other attendees should add their experience.

Make ppr's drop today o.

The COA forum was very informative and interactive. It brought out some salient points on the transition to Canadian life. Very well organized and they kept strictly to time. There was enough food and drinks and thee was also coffee and tea (u will need these as the room was kind of cold oh)
The facilitator was on point and she had the experience of moving from Nigeria to Canada so she was very practical and upfront about what and what to expect from our intended move.
Over all it was time well spent as it opens up your mind to somethings that you might not yet know about the country called Canada and the way in which they do things.

Its was just a pity that I could not recognize any of the forumites there yesterday. It would have been nice to put faces to some of the names that we have here. For those that will attend next, I will suggest that an announcement is made so that they can network in person.

Let the rain of PPR begin now and into the new week IJN

Guyman1234 and Ayobunmi05, thanks alot for the insight, looking forward to be part of this session.

Thanks Guys for sharing your experiences..................one thing I picked from your posts is the TEMPERATURE in the room. I think the organizers conditioned the room for a reason......the WEATHER in Canada, we all have to get ready for that as well!
