Actually i just want to make the SGVO spreadsheet compact and want to keep much needed data. Since there is also a global spreadsheet on the main thread which contains descriptive data for each of us, addition of self calculated point might not be required...

anyway just sharing my opinion and thanks for the suggestion.. ;D

Looks like there are some progress for applicants from Bangladesh...at least SGVO is reviewing the files. WE WILL GET good news very soon, Inshallah. We need to get ready.

I have submitted my marriage certificate earlier...don't know why they asked for it again...but anyways at least they are working on the file and that's what matters!

Welcome to the forum Morning_Sky.

First of all I would like to say that u are with the same situation that i faced earlier. I had also update my marital status after submission of application... . For marital status update CSE is not a good idea since SGVO is not gonna respond u (like my case).

U have to submit below docs/forms:

Forms:
1. Cover Letter stating ur changes
2. Generic App form- Principal applicant
3. Schedule A - Background declaration -spouse
4. Additional Family info- Spouse
5. Supplementary -Travels- Principal applicant
6. Fee payment
7. Doc checklist


Sending ur educational docs as hardcopy---courier it to above address would be most wise.

I have got another query for you. While filling up Generic Application form i got confused on following matter

Question 12

From the list, select the type of dependant:

Type A
The dependant is under the age of 22 and is single (not married and not in a common-law relationship).
Type B
The dependant has been continuously enrolled in and in attendance as a full‑time student at a post-secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority and has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent either:

since before the age of 22, or
since marrying or entering into a common-law relationship (if it happened before the age of 22).

Type C
The dependant is 22 years of age or older, has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22, and is unable to provide for himself or herself because of a medical condition.


For my wife as a dependent which category is applicable. She is more than 22 yrs of age. It seems very confusing choice........ :-X :-X :-X

Please help me out.

Brother actually this is a fault from CIC for the newer version generic form (footer IMM 0008 (2014-03) ). I can see for older ver. when I chose on ques 10 : "Relationship to principal applicant as-Spouse" ques-12 (From the list, select the type of dependant) automatically inactive. But when u used new generic form u have to choose any of category as a mandatory field instead inactivation. In this case i can suggest u to use any dependent category (A/B/C) and write down in a cover letter that u are having this problem for filling up ques:12 of (Dependent section) on generic form. Visa officer will understand this issue...i believe....

May be the cases are distributed to the different visa officers of SGVO.

Again i would like to ask you few more things. Previously you suggest me to

"" Raise CSE regarding change of my marital status with scan copy of marriage certificate, passport copy, ed certificates of my spouse. Then VO will come back to me with what I need to do further to include my spouse in my application."

My questions are following;

1. Do i need to send CSE first and wait for their instruction? or shall i send all necessary documents to VO as you instructed and in parallel raise CSE to inform them regarding the change?

2. If you could send me a sample cover letter showing how to address the change of status. Any web site link of any format would be very appreciated. Basically i am not sure how to organize the cover letter. I dont want to miss any important point on cover letter. In that case i am over cautious.

I believe you do understand my situation.
