Asif Bhai,

Thanks for your reply. One more query.

If visa is granted, how will be my passport is stamped if I choose New Delhi as VO?
Since I'm staying in Singapore it won't be a problem. Please clarify !
Thanks in advance bro !
When u get the PP request from NDVO , u can contact with him stating ur situation to offer u to stamp the Visa from SG...

usually they help for such conditions...:)

Asif Bhai,

Thanks for your reply. Below info I got from CIC website, which means SG should be my VO. Am I right ?

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:
your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.

Thanks for your reply !

Cheers,
Naresh.

Nope check the post......U have both option as said earlier........Also there were lots applicant whom chose his country of nationality rather country of residence for their VO and got Visa successfully...:)

Visa office selection:

Please go through the below articles for your understanding:

Visa offices outside Canada: Countries / Territories and corresponding Canadian visa offices

Applicants for Permanent Residence
You must select the visa office that serves your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted for at least one year

http://www.cicnews.com/2011/01/understanding-r11-visa-office-submit-application-canadian-permanent-residency-01826.html

Here are a few examples that will clarify how the second provision of R11 as noted above is interpreted under Canadian immigration laws:

• You are a Nigerian citizen currently studying at a university in Australia. You arrived just one month ago and your study permit is valid for 3 years. As a citizen of Nigeria, you always have the option of indicating that you want your application processed at the Canadian visa office in Accra, Ghana (which is responsible for processing permanent residence applications from Nigeria). You also have the option of selecting the visa office in Sydney, Australia, because you have been granted legal status in Australia for more than 1 year and you are currently living there. It does not matter that you have not lived in Australia for one year.

• You are a citizen of India who initially entered the United States on an H1-B work permit valid for two years. After your work permit expired, you remained in the US without valid status and never left the country. As usual, you can select the visa office in New Delhi, India for the processing of your application. Given your circumstances, you can also choose the visa office in Buffalo, New York. This is because you were initially granted legal immigration status in the United States for more than 1 year and you never left the country.

• You are Jordanian national who was admitted to the United States on a visitor visa for 6 months. After your visa expired, you left the US for 2 months. You have now come back and again you have been admitted for 6 months on a visitor visa. You cannot have your application for permanent residence processed at the visa office in Buffalo, because you have not been granted 1 year of continuous legal status in the US. You can only choose to have your application processed at the visa office in Damascus, which is responsible for processing applications for Jordanian nationals.

Ashif Bhai,

Few questions to clarify.

1.Shall I use SG address as mailing address. Isn't it? Even though, New Delhi is visa office.

2.In Schedule-3 Economic Classes, Question No:12 Your Work Experience:
Occupation- Whether I should write my current occupation ? or Sample Title listed in NOC (2132) ?

3.In Generic Application Form, Section-Education/Occupational Detail
Intended Occupation- What Should I write?

4.n Generic Application Form, Section-Current Country of Residence
I should furnish SG details. Isn't it? My current work permit is from July'14 to July'16 and before that I used to work for another company from Sep'12 to July'14. How should i indicate it?

Thanks in advance bro.

Cheers,
Naresh

I think this date is their web page modification date. You can even see this before you entering you application status page. and in every page you will find the same date. In my case I have found it is 12-05-2014. I doesn't indicate any progress of our file.

I went on VFS Canada office at Gulshan Dhaka BD on their new office on last week. Reason was -my sister-in-law rcvd PP request (within 7 months) as spouse PR application.

One of them recognized my face and was asking me- hi hellow....(since i have gone there several times due to family reason).

I asked him about the frequency of the PP submission they r receiving from PR applicants...

He said that PP submission on their office is not that much ....frequency is reasonably less....

So even if we think that there are lots applicants whom are not on the forum are getting MR/PPR ---may not be true........:D

This is just to share with u guys.....
God bless all....
This is indeed a news of concern!! Im worried about it now.

Dear Bangladeshi Applicants,

How could we bring this matter to Her Excellency Heather Cruden, the High Commissioner for Canada in Bangladesh?

Her FB - www. facebook. com/heather.cruden
Twitter - twitter. com/HeatherCruden

Journalists brothers/sisters from this forum can also write some articles about our issues. This is our future, we have to do something if we want to change it. Lets communicate, talk, think, share. I am sure we will be able to come up with something effective, Inn sha ALLAH.

Hi All,

As I saw the chance to apply FSW2014 via Singapore office is very low means wait too long. Therefore, I want to go another route eg: international student and still apply FSW 2014. Do I have problem to get visa for studying if I already applied FSW2014?

Tks,

Thang
