This is how i obtained India PCC and Saudi PCC from Riyadh

For India PCC

1) I downloaded "Form 2" from indian embassy website http://www.indianembassy.org.sa/WebFiles/Form2.pdf
2) I filled the form
For question no 9, service required, i ticked
e. Police Clearance Certificate (for : please write name of country) - Require India PCC for Canada
3) I went to vfsglobal office at Umm al hammam (official outsourcing agent of indian embassy) with Filled Form 2, Original Passport, Passport Copy, Iqama copy and 2 photos and i submitted it with applicable fees. (around Srs 120)
4) After 2 days, i got my india pcc and original passport from vfs global office.

For Saudi PCC

1) I downloaded "Form 2" from indian embassy website http://www.indianembassy.org.sa/WebFiles/Form2.pdf
2) I filled the form

5) I translated the recommendation letter from English to Arabic.
6) I went to MOFA with recommendation letter and its translation and got the recommendation letter attested from MOFA after paying SR 30.

Hi Guys,
Any idea how long LVO takes to contact applicant after PER?

My address has been changed from what was in my original application. Should I wait for the LVO to contact me or is there any way I can send them my new address. I got PER on 4th October.

No idea how long LVO will take as nobody has been asked for MR yet for FSW2013 from LVO. Like others I am hopeful it will start very soon!

I noticed on the FSW2013 thread that someone was saying that LVO like to use snail mail for sending out MR documentation, so it is better to keep your address up to date - and in any case I believe your PER says you should keep them up to date too.

Just let them know using the webform for LVO. They might ask for an updated IMM0008 form or something, others who have told them of address changes will probably know what they wanted. I told them about a change of job using their on-line form and they confirmed my file was in a queue at LVO which was good to know.

bro khan, you must intimate LVO about the change in address immediately. Just send them an email mentioning your recent address, and do mention your file no. as reference. Simultaneously, sending them a postal mail in this regards would place you on more safer side. There are no definite timelines after PER, a lot depends on how complete and accurate your application is, best of luck

No issues, you can wait a couple of weeks more and then dispatch.
Litle addition to what loncan said,...i know a lot of cases in which LVO has sent MR to an individual both by email and snail mail.

Hi guys, I pray that this long wait will be shortened and our case shall be like/better that CPP-O. In the meantime lets take time to prepared for future eventualities.
Please I need any expert/experienced advice about expected situation when my MR get sent. Presently my passport is with the home office in an application for leave extension. I received my PER on 19th of August for an application received at CIO on 27th May. In case my MR comes before home office decision (very likely), how can I possibly go for Medicals without my passport because I read somewhere that original passport will be needed for identification purpose by any of the specified Practitioner. Take note that if I withdraw my passport from Home office prior to decision, It means cancellation of my application while the earlier leave has already ended. What would you suggest I do from previous experience?

Thank you all.

you do need a good photocopy of your passport but not the original passport at the time of medical, cheers

Sure??
I will be the happiest in that case. I have good certified copies and can even get good coloured copies printed from my original that was scanned.

Thanks Hasni.
