Hi,

1. the guide mentions that the bar code pages should be placed on top of all the papers (i.e. they should be the first pages, even beforw the checklist)... Now when i validate my generic form i get bar codes in two pages and the second page also contains the decLaration which i have to sign to complete the generic form...
Should both the pages with the declaration form be placed on top of the heap?.??.

Please suggest if others have faced the same issue....

2. The additional dependent form --- the document checklist says that you need to fill this up only if the number of dependents is more than 5 ( less than 5 to be ccovered in generic form)... But i remember rwading on this forum that the guide mentions that the additional dependent form needs to be filled for every dependent even if they are covered in the generic form as per new requirements.... Please clarify

I didnt keep it on top . I kept the checklist document on top, followed by the generic application document and its pages, at the end of the generic application document i kept the bar coding page.

But the new application guide page 28 of 46 where it mentions about generating the bracode it says----

" place the barcode pages on top of your application ( forms and supporting documents) when you will submit it."

Place the barcode pages should be on top of your generic form. i thing the barcode pages are 8 and 9 they should come first and then 1 to 7 pages. that what my consultant did.
because this barcode they stick it to all the documents u submitted to group them and easily scan them.

Thanks Sameer.. SHould the barcode pages be on top of generic form or on top of checklist (i.e the whole package).

Also is it required to fill in the additional dep forms if the number of dependents is not more than 5 (covered in generic form)....

Guys.. can anyone please clarify the doubts...

Is the additional dependent form required to be filled if the number of dependents is less than 5 ... ???

URGENT- Pls reply ASAP
I'm single-never married and I don't have any dependant family member (child etc).

Q1. Should I click "Remove Dependant" button on the application form (IMM0008) which collapses the section completely

Q2. Can I include mention of Mother as a dependant or it has to be spouse/ child only

Q3. Should I Submit (Blank/ what to fill) the "Add Dependent Form" (similar to above query in the blog)

Pls let me know urgently

no one with a clear thought on above ??.? How did people who have already sent their applications deal with the above 2 points please.........

I placed the barcode page on top of everything. Next came the checklist and the forms.

I have 2 dependents so I didn't use the additional form.

That's just what I did, can't confirm that its the 100% correct method.

Every one has their own way of sending the documents. I had DD, so I attached it with paper clip with the payment form, and placed it on top as it was important and not wanted to get lost in between tons of papers. Than came the checklist [as it is mentioned that it should be used as cover]. Than the bar codes [signed 1 on top as it has signature, and the full bar code follows it] and than IMM0008 and rest of the forms.
